Info about Modelers

MM - congrats on the great webpage! Like you, I am a collector of scale models, mostly WWII tanks. I am too busy nowadays to do my own modeling.

I am looking for a professional modeler in Thailand whom I can commission to make/paint my 1/35 tank models. I see that your "Art Instructor" do a decent job.
(a) How can I get in touch with one of these professional modelers?
(b) How much does it cost & how long does it take per 1/35 scale tank model?

I live in Bangkok City. Thanks for any help!

Many thanks for your message and inquiry. I understand your trouble in having no time to build the models yourself. In Thailand there are many collectors like me and they have modelers working for them.
In my case, I'm afraid "Art Instructor" won't have time to make models for others apart from me because I have a never-ending job for him. But he has two elder brothers who make good models too. Their names are "Tuk" and "Tum". Perhaps you may try giving them one or two armor to work on and see if the outcome is satisfatory or not, or you may come over to my place and see their earlier works. The cost of building 1/35 tank is around a thousand baht or higher depending on complexity of the build, and it won't take long time for just one or two tanks. I usually give "Art Instructor" 5-6 pieces to work at a time.

I decided to use your email address for the rest of my reply. I hope you do not mind. Thanks again & great work!

You're welcome! I don't mind receiving e-mails from fellow modeler/collector and I reply all of them.

Good luck.
