About 350 absconding Khasadars dismissed

KHYBER AGENCY: The political administration has decided to sack 350 Khasadar personnel for refusing to perform duties in Bara tehsil after threats by Lashkar-i-Islam chief Mangal Bagh.

Talking to APP on Saturday, Political Agent Khyber Captain (retd) Tariq Hayat Khan said that 350 Khasadars had been sacked after they refused to perform their duties.

Mangal Bagh had warned security personnel a few days ago to lay down arms or face dire consequences.

The warning aired on FM channel said that security personnel who defied LI Amirs orders would be slain and their houses and properties would be demolished.

The political agent said that Khasadar was a disciplined and uniformed force and any employee who refused to obey the government orders would face strict action, including removal from job.

KHYBER AGENCY: The political administration has sacked 357 more Khasadar personnel for refusing to perform duties in Bara Tehsil after threats by Lashkar-i-Islam Chief Mangal Bagh. The toll of dismissed Khasadar personnel has now reached to 715 in two days.

According to Political Agent Khyber Captain (retd) Tariq Hayat Khan, over 350 Khasadars are still performing their duties in Tehsil Bara despite threats.
