Lebanese court charges ten with spying for Israel
The Lebanese military prosecutor filed charges against 10 suspects on Wednesday after they were accused of spying for Israel. The case is one of many recent cases against suspected collaborators.
A judicial official in Lebanon stated that the ten residents are accused of collaborating with the enemy, and that they sold information on civilian and military outposts.
Three of the detainees, Mohammad Sayyid Radwan, Yousef Elie Al Alam, and Fawzi Said, are Egyptian, and are charged with providing Israel with information regarding certain regions sites, and information on Hezbollah officials.
Fawzi and Al Alam were also charged with observing the moves of Samir Geagea, head of the Lebanese security forces.
