i have seen documentaries on cnn etc which showed kids in pakistan
reciting verses in quran, and the journalist ask them if they Understood
what the verses meant, and the kids said no, becoz it's in arabic.

i happen to have many muslim friends from non-arabic countries and i
often ask them if they could read arabic verses, and most if not all
of them said a big NO!

I met a catholic guy once that tried to sway me to his religion but I told him maybe later in life I might find some god but for now i have too much sinning to do.

some ppl have certain natural abilities to do these kinds of things,
and as i said, there are quite a few christians who could memorize the
whole bible, too... and bible is much larger than quran.
there are ppl who could memorize the mathematical Pi to the n-th
decimal points, some could make calculations faster than a calculator
(she is an east indian woman), some have extremely great photographic
memory.. and some could remember what each day that he/she did going
back to decades ago, say jan 25, 1993..he can describe the weathee that
day the event of the day etc..

.... for starters everybody is "material" .... there are more luxury stores in Arab states than in europe alone.
