Dozens of Iraqi teenagers stoned to death for emo haircuts: activists

Friday, 09 March 2012
By AL ARABIYA

Iraqi activists sounded the bell over the killing of dozens of teenagers by religious police for having emo haircuts.

Activists told the Cairo-based al-Akhbar daily that at least 90 Iraqi teenagers with emo appearances have been stoned to death by the Moral Police in the country in the past month. The violent crackdown against emo Iraqi teenagers came after the Iraqi interior ministry declared them as devil worshippers.

The Emo phenomenon or devil worshiping is being probed by the Moral Police who have the approval to eliminate it as soon as possible since its detrimentally affecting the society and becoming a danger, according to a statement by the interior ministry.

They wear strange, tight clothes that have pictures on them such as skulls and use stationery that are shaped as skulls. They also wear rings on their noses and tongues, and do other strange activities, the statement added.

The statement said that Iraqs Moral Police was granted approval by the Ministry of Education to enter Baghdad schools and pinpoint students with Western appearances.

The activists told the newspaper that a group of armed men dressed in civilian clothing led the teenagers to secluded areas a few days ago, stoned them to death, and then disposed their bodies in garbage dumpsters across the capital, Baghdad.

First they throw concrete blocks at the boys arms, then at his legs, then the final blow is to his head, and if he is not dead by then, they start all over again, one person who managed to escape told the daily.
The exact death toll remains unclear, but Hana al-Bayaty of Brussels Tribunal, an NGO dealing with Iraqi issues, said the current figure ranges between 90 and 100.

Activists said that leaflets were distributed in Baghdad warning teenagers from donning the emo style, and in some regions, teenage homosexuals were killed by battering their heads also by concrete blocks.

Opps, did not see that before !

The interesting thing is that we are not talking about Sunni Wahabis here. We are talking about the Shias who were told were previuously "oppressed" by the big bad Sunni but Secular Saddam Hussein. Now since freedom has been shoved down their throats, its working out wonderfully !

All these middle east countries are socially retarded thanks to the violent and Deceitful death cult - Islam.
Look at any country that has a legal system based on Islamic Sharia law you will see a trail of barbaric justice and violence built on hate, corruption and intolerance.

They can't move forward and they can't back up. Their culture is stuck in the mud.

Go secular and let the people believe in whatever skyman they want without fear.

Congrats to Turkey for having the sense to know when there is too much compulsion in religion or at least it appears that way.

That was becasue of the Jew-homo called Ataturk who force fed the turds. His legacy is being dismantled as we speak. Resurgent islam in turkey is a predominant force now and Kemalists have virtually disappreared in every sphere of life. Very soon turds will reach their human potential as a Turkarab.

indian low life, I am proud of what Ataturk had done to country. If he didn't exist Türkey would be like one of those religious freak countries. We are having some difficulties with the current postmodern islamist dictatorial government but day will come.

BTW you can't humiliate a fenomen by calling him gay or jew, low life.

Thats exactly the point.Secularism is very artificial identity for Turkey which is practised by a small urban elite. Ataturk literally had to force Secularism on Turkey. It is not something which came naturally to Turks like it did to say Indians. It reflects the cultures of both lands.Islam favours militant centralised authority with organized ulema while Hinduism favours a personalised spiritual philosphy without any organized religion.Hence it is easy for Hindus to adopt to Secularism with any state force while in Turkey secularism essentially survives on the might of Turkish military. Secularism in the west also has similar problems like it faced in Turkey but for the forceful separation of church and state after centuries of voilent intra-christian voilence. Secularism is uncompatible with Monotheistic desert religions which favours authoritarian god and ulema/church.Either one has to force secularism on unwanted religious people (like in Turkey) or one has to outgrow religion to adopt to secularism (like in the west).
