Sounds like 1980's Turkish tavern songs...

But yeah, she stands a chance not b/c her voice but b/c she's the most beautiful Armenian chick I've seen.

The entire background music is a typical Armenian folkmusic of the late 1800s, on which a faster modern beat & english lyrics have been added!
It's funny u try to compare everything to turkish music, while, turks themselves dont even have a music...all u have is a bad, unsuccessful copy of Armenian/Greek notes...which u try to europeanise by adding some half naked women in ur video clips

is this from comedy central late night broadcast? Otherwise you have a serious problem with your FM. At best, he has judgmental problems. At worst it is mental. It explains why the non-disillusioned armenians actually had the riot the last week.

-Seriously dude, my SAM is gone.

Even for the low standards of the Eurovision song festival, this song is pretty bad!

In fact another event took place last week that proves my FM was straight to the point! (despite the fact that he said this over 1 year ago)

A skirmish that killed 8 special forces troops while our side had 2 injuries! I had the pics of ur "runaway" brethren on the WAFF forum! check it out! it's a real eye opener!

The funny part is how the azeri gov't tries to fool it's public!

1st day: We haev no casualties
2nd day" We have 2 casualties
3rd day: We have 4 casualties
7th day: 2 other soldiers have died in an independent incident

& now their declaring that they have 1 more killed and another injury! As if they spread their casualties over a wider period of time they'll try to hide from their illiterate stupid ppl that their billion $ budgeted Army got phucked by the Nagorno-Karabakh defence Army!

No man! our FM is right on the spot! He bases himself on the fact that the azeris have lost 2 wars & every skirmish that has occured against the Karabakh defense army during the last 13 years!

@Nighthawk,

You know, in America, we definitely have a problem with quality music. This hip hop sh*t is getting out of hands.

I agree, I'm not into hip hop/rap/r&b and other "ghetto" music.
But still, Eurovision is just BAD !

A lot of nations attempt to mimic the US in the Entertainment industry, but they just can't. The US Entertainment and Military industry are two things that we have that can never be rivaled by any nation or economic/military bloc.

We need a musical revolution here in the states.

THis song starts odd but still with some artistic pretension then the refrain starts with a jumping hopping instrument giving it a sort of cheap caucasian taverna feeling

Guys, seriously, mentioning Eurovision in this forum is an honour that it does not deserve. Which serious person gives a damn about that sub-zero quality level garbage music, if you can call it music at all? Bunch of sex-starved high-school girls singing the same 6 year old lyrics with "catchy" tunes over and over every year. There are so many wonderful genres out there like Classical, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Reggae, Rap, Ambient, New Age, Folk, Ethnic and this world is choking on Dance-Pop crap.

Mytilene, eastern heaven of the Aegean
An old man by a seashore at the end of day, gazes the horizon with seawinds in his face
Tempest-tossed island, seasons all the same, anchorage unpainted and a ship without a name
Sea without a shore for the banished one unheard, he lightens the beacon light at the end of world
Showing the way lighting hope in their hearts, the ones on their travels homeward from afar
The albatross is flying, making him daydream, the time before he became one of the world`s unseen
Princess in the tower, children in the fields, life gave him it all: an island of the universe
Now his love`s a memory, a ghost in the fog, he sets the sails one last time saying farewell to the world
Anchor to the water, seabed far below, grass still in his feet and a smile beneath his brow

This is for long-forgotten
Light at the end of the world
Horizon crying
The tears he left behind so long ago
So long ago...
