Camp Bondsteel is the main base of the United States Army under KFOR command in Kosovo. Located near the town of FERIZAJ in the eastern part of Kosovo, the base serves as the NATO headquarters for KFOR's Multinational Task Force East (MNTF-E).

They employ local Albanians as custodians and toilet attendents, thus pumping hard currency into the local economy. Ethnic Albanians dream of the day they'll be wiping chit off of US toilets in Camp Bondsteel!
I went there a couple of times to shop and eat burgers when I was in KOFOR 02. I remember the guard asked us if we where some kind of special forces when we emptied the weapons at the gate, since we had MP5
Shows the real use for Kosovo... A US base right smack bang in the middle of the Balkans. That may just make everyone in the region sit down and shut up.
Kosovo is truely a whored 'nation'. Divide and Conquer continues...
Siege of Tobruk - One German POW said: "I cannot understand you Australians. In Poland, France, and Belgium, once the tanks got through the soldiers took it for granted that they were beaten. But you are like demons. The tanks break through and your infantry still keep fighting." Rommel wrote of seeing "a batch of some fifty or sixty Australian prisoners ... marched off close behind usimmensely big and powerful men, who without question represented an elite formation of the British Empire, a fact that was also evident in battle."
