it was just announced that there will be early elections in F.y.r.o.m.
it was stated that the albanian part of the government coalition has pushed for the new elections and that the fyromian president agrees with the call.
several possible dates were given, but nothing concrete as yet.
it wasnt immidiately revealed as to the reason for the new snap election
as to wether it was a reult of their failed Nato aspiration and their confrontation with greece over the disputed name issue,or wether there were other internal reasons

does anyone know more about fyromian internal dissent??
or why the albanians would call for a snap election??

Probably FYROM prime minister wants elections now so he can use nationalism as a part of his political agenda. Most likely he will win. As for the Albanians, from all i hear in Greek news, they dont seem to share Illirias sentiment, lol.

as they say in the buisness
"stop press,watch this space"
personally i dont believe anything good will come from this
particularly for greece
a mess could very well be in the making for greece to clean up.

The Albanians are a crucial factor for the further stabilization or destabilization of FYROM'S situation, since they consist a large part of the fyromian population their intentions will play a crucial role to the future developments in this country. It has been proved that the Albanians of Tetovo maintain good relations with the Albanians of Kosovo, there is no doubt that if the Albanians try to immitate the example of Kosovo then a division of FYROM and a subsequent civil war should be expected, if on the contrary they choose not to pose any problems to the unity of Fyrom and its existence as a coherent entity then a more solid and commonly accepted government could try to negotiate their problems with Greece in a more cooperative spirit, however the Albanians is more than certain since their current stance  displays exactly this fact  that they will support a policy of division from the Slavic element of Fyrom this will lead them to play a role to the vigorous plan for the formation of a bigger Albania, As i understand it , it would be premature for them to declare their real intentions in public since the dream of a great Albania is a long term dream which is going to become true only when the conditions allow it to happen and only under the full support of the west and especially of the United States. The first step to this direction will be to form an independent state and divide themselves from the Slavic element of Fyrom this will create 2 autonomous independent states neighboring with Albania with homogenous populations and no miniroties provided that the Serbs will annex the part of Kosovo in which there is a Serbian minority.

In mathematics 1apple+1apple= 2 apples

however 1 apple + 1 watermelon= a big nothing

what i mean by that is that you can calculate sums only of identical things, therefore you can annex territories that the populations are clear of minorities and homogenous and since the aforementioned independent (Albanian) in fact states will have all the necessary preconditions they will be able to be annexed with their motherland and make their big dream to come true

In case of a potential breakup of FYROM Greece should go after the southern part of it and we should beggin talking about the Greek populations of FYROM something that our political leadership tragically failed to do up today

1. The FYROM government has still not yet complied with the Ohrid Agreement, signed sometime in 2001, after the Albanian insurgency.

2. The Albanian members of parliament in Skopia have threatened to walk out , to demand new elections if the Skopian government did not react positively to the name dispute with Greece in order to further the nation's interests and get them into NATO and to force the Skopian government to officialy recognize Kosovo (as the government said it would) and to settle a border dispute with Kosovo as well.

None of these have been done. FYROM's days really are numbered.
