Continue here, the other one reached 100 posts, plus that huge-ass pic had screwed up the page format.

For earlier posts ---> Part 1

Mytilene, eastern heaven of the Aegean
An old man by a seashore at the end of day, gazes the horizon with seawinds in his face
Tempest-tossed island, seasons all the same, anchorage unpainted and a ship without a name
Sea without a shore for the banished one unheard, he lightens the beacon light at the end of world
Showing the way lighting hope in their hearts, the ones on their travels homeward from afar
The albatross is flying, making him daydream, the time before he became one of the world`s unseen
Princess in the tower, children in the fields, life gave him it all: an island of the universe
Now his love`s a memory, a ghost in the fog, he sets the sails one last time saying farewell to the world
Anchor to the water, seabed far below, grass still in his feet and a smile beneath his brow

This is for long-forgotten
Light at the end of the world
Horizon crying
The tears he left behind so long ago
So long ago...

akatanomastos!

With such navy it would be a cakewalk for France to block Turkey.....(naval blocade)
As i sayd earlyer,France can do far more damage to turkey then viceversa............
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inavsion would be dificul cus Turkey has a sher size of its army.....But that army is not
as profesional and modern as french(a part from the weapons Turkey purchased from Germany).
Also,Turkish small industry would be easy target for French Fighter-bombers,,,,,,,,,

Apart from that, the only effective French weapon against Turkey are nuclear submarines with ICBMs. The rest (aircraft/helicopter carriers and LPDs) are only "expensive floating targets" for Turkey's massive fleet of F-16s, which can hit them far away from the Anatolian coastline with the assistance of KC-135Rs.

spirits would have been hot time before the war start

french inventory can be updated in quality and quantity in a short time
bad diplomatic relations might be for time ,time enough for the french to get what they need

Not really, no. Sure Turkey has some weapons manufacturing, but it doesn't exactly have a huge weapons industry sector like France does it?

@filin the slav(e)ic idiot

Your giving the Battle of Ceshma as an example of russian victories over Turks is so absurd. Slav(e)ic idiots needed a british brain (John Elphinstone) to plan and carry out the attack on Turkish fleet. A ruskie can not be a sailor or a soldier by nature. Even Japs crushed your pathetic fleet and sent slav(e)ic goat herders to the bottom of Yellow Sea in 1905. I don't know where you got the idea that poor russian goat herders overwhelmed Turks in the battlefield. Below you can find the link to one of the greatest russian ass gang bangings by Turkic mongols.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokhtamysh

Toktamysh Khan literally raped and crushed inferior slav(e)ic goat herders in 1382.

'at least learn your histoy before looking like a fool'

and you should learn how to spell HISTORY you poor russian imbecile. russia is the biggest prostitute factory on earth by the way. At least they are good at something lol

Haha, a Turk crying about Chesma, lol. Im sorry that the Russia forces have managed to dominate the Turks in virtually every engagement, even when they were outnumbered 15 to 1. What a pathetic culture, they lost so many times that they try to distort history to try not to seem like huge losers.

I see you can use wikipedia, must be one smart guy, check this out too while your at it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Vozha_River

Almost entire Mongol invasion army killed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kulikovo

Entire Mongolian army killed with almost half the force.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_standing_on_the_Ugra_river

Mongols running with the tail between their legs.

Perhaps if thats too boring maybe we should look at how often the Ottomans got their as-es handed to them by the Russian empire, and how many of the Ottoman victories were with the help of the Brits or the French.

First of all i dont see any evidences for your 15:1 ratio . Btw did you notice that most of the time russians are defending???

Battle of Kulikovo

Commanders:

combined Russian armies:

Dmitri Ivanovich of Moscow

The Golden Horde:

Mamai

---------------
Strength

comined russian armies:
between 60,000 and 80,000

Golden horde:
between 75,000 and 125,000
-------------------
Casualties and losses

combined russian armies:
up to 40,000 killed or wounded (more than 50 %)

Golden horde:
Almost entire army killed

Battle of the Vozha River

-No real casuality numbers

-------------------------

Great stand on the Ugra river

"...After the battle, Akhmat retreated to the town of Vorotynsk, where he decided to wait for Casimir's army. Ivan III moved his army to Kremenets and started to negotiate with the khan, in attempt to buy some time to restore his relations with his rebellious brothers (hence, the Great standing on the Ugra river). It took Ivan III four days (from September, 30 to October, 3) to reconcile with his brothers and another 17 days (until 20 October) for his brothers' armies to arrive at Kremenets. Watching the increasing Russian army and receiving no word from the Polish king, Akhmat chose not to attack the Russians. In the meantime, Casimir IV was dealing with his own country's internal affairs and fighting with the Crimean Khanate. The Mongols waited for reinforcements until November, 11 and then, lacking supplies and suffering from epidemics and freezing weather, turned south.

On January 6, 1481 Akhmat Khan was killed in a clash with the army of Ibak Khan of Tyumen. As a result, the Golden Horde gradually disintegrated. The Great Standoff on the Ugra river put an end to the Tatar-Mongol dominance..."

I dont see him fleeing here. He only retreated to buy time and died honorably.
