Well the best partnership in the Tournament is indeed Villa and Torres but I feel that they'll both score many goals canceling each other out in the running. Spain will score the most goals.
Onward Chartered Soldiers, on to heathen lands,
Prayer books in your pockets, rifles in your hands.
Take the glorious tidings where trade can be done,
Spread the peaceful gospel --- with a Maxim gun.
Tell the wretched natives, sinful are their hearts,
Turn their heathen temples into spirit marts.
And if to your teaching they will not succumb,
Give them another sermon with the Maxim gun...
When the Ten Commandments they quite understand,
You their Chief must hocus, and annex their land;
And if they misguided call you to account,
Give them another sermon --- with a Maxim from the Mount
I hope Germany wins the tournament but I think the Dutch will win it, and admittedly in this tournament they are the country (after Germany) that I am cheering for. I like you guys.
Nistelrooy is too egoistic to deserve the leadin goal scorer award but he is a gud talent though.

Lachit Barphukan- The brave Ahom general that repelled the Mughal invaders and protected Assamese integrity.
Kanaklata- The brave soul, who was martyred at the age of 16, in the Indian freedom movement.

You must be joking right? Van Nistelrooy is praised down here for all his hard work during the matches. He's the bait defenders take, after which the upcoming midfielders can be dangerous. It's quite a humble role for such an excellent striker. Add to that the fact he's the joymaker of the Dutch squad, and never again call him "too egoistic". No offense, but it just shows a lack of football understanding.

Be careful, Germany may not be the right place to cheer for the Dutch

I m not jokin. Nistelrooy is the star of the Dutch football team. Nobody is denyin tat or his soccer skills, he is among Europe's finest. But i am not talkin abt his soccer skills. Once durin the World cup tournament, in a league match against Germany he commented tat the Dutch team will b naturally inspired coz they r playin against Germany who comiited crimes against their country Holland.
Granted Nazi Germany was not good. But Holland pre WW2 was not an angel either, they had colonies n they had to resist rebels fighting for independence. Sports is abt sportsmanship spirit. Being a star player it was n uncalled comment frm hi8m. He should hav been more responsible.

I actually agree with that. Granted, there's always been some 'in the game' animosity between us and the Germans but no sense dragging the war into it.

I can't remember the quote, but if you're right (and I'm not doubting your honesty) then it was indeed uncalled for and irresponsible. However, with "too egoistic" I thought you were referring to him as a player. There I disagree with you. Also "too egoistic" doesn't always go together with being irresponsible and untactful in your remarks Ah, nevermind...
