Turkey needs a miracle to out do all the miracles so far to be able to beat Germany.

A question to our Turkish guys here, I will be in Alanya for the final. Of course I hope we beat you guys tomorrow Would the people there react negatively to somebody wearing the jersey of the team that beat them or can I do it without problems?
I suppose they would be cool with it, since most Turkish football fans I know are very easygoing, but just wanted to ask.

He'll tell them precisely what the problems are and what to do, and the Germans - unlike the Dutch - being the professionals they are will up their game.
It will definitely be a very interesting second half.
The Germans played absolutely crap! The defense was a shambles and their was very little creativity on attack. The Turks scored twice but then conceded 4 minutes later on both occasions, a sign of inexperience and lack of big match players. The Germans have that winning mentality, but they do not deserve to be in the final.
Such a damned shame we had to play with our reserves but, at least we gave you KRauts

Puuh, what a game and what a night. I was right all along, those who expected a thrashing were deluding themselves. This was a semifinal, it was bound to be a tense affair and as I said the chances were 50:50. The first half was really dire for us. All that nice and safe passing was away and we made schoolboy mistakes. This team is really a surprise package. Once they play awesome football and in other games they just grind through. But since this is the semifinal I don't care a bit. Victory is all that counts. Big, big compliment to the Turks. They engaged us head on and were dominant for most of the game with many of their first players missing. They remind me very much of Germany with thier never give up attitude and amazing stamina. This time though we proved that last minute winners are still more of a German thing than a Turkish thumb.gif But, again, compliment for a great tournament to all you Turks! Hopefully you will be rooting for Germany now.
Ratings:
Lehmann: 6 Dealt well with crosses, but the second goal is his fault IMO. The first was bad luck, but he did not look that well there either.
Lahm: 8 offensively, 4 defensively. I have seldom seen Lahm have that many problems defending. Again it was evident that Podolski is not much of a help in defence. Kazim and Semih skinned him multiple times. Now in the attack he was amazing. He set up the Klose goal perfectly and his final move was absolutely world class. You could just see that he was fired up there after being beaten that easily for the goal before.
Metzelder: 6 Unsure, has to attack the opposing players earlier.
Mertesacker: 6.5 Same as above, only with better positioning.
Friedrich: 7 I thought he was our best defender yesterday. Does not say much though.
Rolfes: 5 Come on, Simon. You had such a good game against Portugal. This time his passes were bad and he lost many headers against the smaller Turks. Improved a bit before his substitution though.
Hitzlsperger: 6.5 Our best central midfielder yesterday. His shots are lethal and one nearly got in. Better defensive work than Rolfes and a great assist for the final goal.
Ballack: 5 I did not like the performance of our captain yesterday. Was very anonymous. No lethal passes or rushes and had not that much luck in defence. I hope for a spectacular comeback in the final though! He certainly is capable of doing that.
Schweinsteiger: 8 My MOTM again. Ran even more than Ballack. Was tireless and chased down every opposing player to help Friedrich with his duties. Excellent finishing for the 1:1 and generally great link up with Poldi.
Podolski: 7 Always a threat going forward. His speed and tight control of the ball make him very hard do defend against. Beautiful assist for the 1:1. Could have scored the 2:1 shortly after that. Our best player this tournament. While Schweinsteiger, Ballack and Lahm had mediocre or bad games, Poldi stood out constantly.
Klose: 7 Anonymous, and had a hard time again as a lone striker. But still, again, made the goal. That's by what strikers are judged. Keep it up, Miro!
