Do you Europeans fear the Americans? Do you see them as a contest?

Europe can turn the USA into a 3rd world country without firing one single shot. I'm not talking about war.

Well we in Serbia are certainly not excited when speaking of US, quite contrary...

The only thing American I fear is obesity. Oh, and crappy Hollywood movies

Other than that, I generally like the USA and Americans.

When I was younger, I sort of admired them.
At the moment, I pitty them. They have come a long way ^^

One of the best things about being an American is that you are neither European, nor Asian, nor African or whatever, your culture stays on the other side of the ocean, and you get to be part of this great experiment know as the USA. Don't spread hate, we've come a long way in our country for every race, gender, and faith to freely do as they choose.

We American may not have a long history, or good manners, hell...we may not all be good people...but seriously, when you are in America, don't give us a hard time. We like to have fun and the world is our playground. Semper Fi.

Oh I forgot to write this earlier but I really adore US muscle cars, late 60s and early 70s and really love choper bikes.

Why is everybody so jealous of America? Everyone hates her but many want to go there, work there and buy US goods. Like any great power it looks after it's intersts and makes mistakes, just as the British empire did last century and the USSSR, Russia and China today. You are ungreatful, had it not been for America most of you would be speaking German today and working in arbeits lagers if you were alive. Maybe it was a mistake for America intervening in Europe in WW2. Don't worry Obama will fix everything.

It was USSR that liberated Europe, US just helped, although they brought communism...

I think no one here is jealous, people just don't like what US has done and what is doing right now, and ofcourse, are afraid what will they do next.
US had great potential to lead the world attempt to prosperity, but it failed due they attemt to rule the world.

What we can see now is bringing the world to the edge of very large conflict...

I see that you have deep predjudice against Europe (West-Europe?) , find me a line in this thread that blames America for "anything". I dont blame them for fighting the Nazis - after all they were attacked by the Axis powers.

Well, I live in the U.s. So,what do you get when you throw in all of these nationalities,ethnicities, races etc.. all in together?

You get a bastardized "nation" (If you can call it that) that consists of people with NO identity,values, morals, or culture. where women act like whores and materialistic b!tchs, and the men act like fake ass douche bags who want to be "Gangstas" and in return they're applauded by the rest of Americans who take pride in this kind of mentality.... it's a place where life pretty much has no meaning for the Average American.

Where the American populace gets worse by each generation that passes, it's a country where no race, or ethnicity (as a majority) gets along.

Most people wanna come here because they think they will be rich,successful, make it big etc... But when they finally get here and live here, then, and only then, they understand the fvcked up "society" that America consists of.

The only people that take pride in America are the people who are filled with hate about anyone or anything that's non-American... Either that, or they don't have anywhere to go because they don't even know what their ancestory consists off, so they stick to what they got.

P.s... I'm just telling you this from my own experience, as far as this goes, it's my opinion on the U.s and its society.

The USA would not survive too long without Europe.

USA and Europe are very close and I believe USA is an extension of Europe. Made by and from Europeans. America has produced some of the greatest music, films, and works of literature of all time. Not to mention contributed greatly to the fields of science. The worlds leading academic institutions are here, in the USA, NOT Europe.

The only problem with America is that lately the government has begun to wage a war against its people. The government is dropping educational standards, health standards, and overall moral standards. Another thing that has been hindering the American population is the grip negro culture has on the general population. Rap and Hip Hop of today should be BANNED, and "artists" like Lil Wayne should be jailed where they can not open their mouths.
