London, Jan.18: Brit Sikh detective sergeant Gurpal Virdi is suing the Metropolitan Police Force for the fifth time after he was passed over for promotion to inspector.


His lawyers will argue that privately the Met still believes he is guilty of sending racist e-mails to his colleagues, despite two independent tribunals clearing him nine years ago.

The claim will feature in a case brought by a high profile Asian detective involved in the longest running discrimination dispute within the Met.

According to The Times, a watchdog has launched an inquiry into whether the Metropolitan Police department responsible for improving the recruitment and retention of ethnic officers is shredding damaging documents about the selection process.

The Met has already admitted to the employment tribunal that the notes taken by Virdis promotion panel last year were shredded in error.

The Sikh detective told The Sunday Times: I am the Colin Stagg of the Met [referring to the man wrongly accused of killing the model Rachel Nickell in 1992]. Everyone knows Im innocent and the Met are not accepting it. It would appear that senior people have something to hide. The commissioner needs to hold people to account rather than cover up.

The Black Police Assocation, which has boycotted ethnic recruitment to the Met, is supporting Virdi.

Further pressure has come from another influential staff association that represents 2,200 inspectors and chief inspectors.

Mark Crake, general secretary of the Inspectors Branch Board, says he has direct evidence that the shredding goes beyond the Virdi case.

In a statement, the Met denied it was getting rid of the evidence.

It said: That is simply ridiculous, electronic copies of all documents remain as a matter of public record. Hard copies were destroyed so they could not be duplicated."

His employment tribunal will be heard next month on the tenth anniversary of the Stephen Lawrence inquiry, which found the Met to be institutionally racist.

Russia was admitted as a guest to the 10th OIC summit in October in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where Putin roused Islamic leaders to an ovation when he said terrorism should not be equated with any religion. Russia will continue with its efforts to obtain observer status in the OIC and later, full membership, Popov said.

With only a 5 percent Muslim population, Thailand achieved observer status in the OIC in 1998. I think Russia will also get it." Russia is also planning to establish an Islamic university in Moscow this year.

Now that's the first correct thing i've seen you post for some time FN, well done, you're absolutely spot on.

The problem in this country isn't the numbers of immigrants from the third world prowling around, although they are way to high for me personally the figures are pretty clear on the numbers and the trends for the future. The real problem isn't the numbers but the influence of the relatively small numbers of Asians and blacks (compared to the 90% of whites) and their liberal white apologists.

They have a dis-proportionate influence to their numbers in many inner city council boroughs because they make special efforts to have elected one of their own as local councillors (all supported by the local asians or blacks population simply because they're asian or black of course, making a nonsense of the democratic process) and then proceed to use that influence to further the ends of their own minority populations over and above those of the general population locally and nationally which is in the vast majority of cases white. Certainly if you look at very small areas of some council boroughs you will find in a few cases larger than national average numbers of minorities, London is sprinkled with such boroughs as is places like Bradford and Birmingham, but outside these areas it's a rarity.

For the first time in many years in this country we're having reported cases of poll/ballot/vote fixing in local elections, something that was unheard of here. Who's responsible and where is it going on ?, asians and anywhere asians are running for a council positions it seems. Bringing the practises of their home country to be used here perhaps. To be fair in these cases the people involved it seems are of Pakistani or Bangladeshi origin rather than of Indian origin (Indians customarily integrate far better in the UK than other asians) and so no blame should be directed at them.

Why is all this happening, because the white population are still apathetic about it all, they still don't bother to vote in local (and for that matter national) elections in the numbers that they should if they had any appreciation and respect for the fact that they live in a democratic country. However that's the only reason and when and if the level of minority influence reaches a level that starts to pi>s everyone off on a regular basis then all of a sudden we'll suddenly see more whites voting, demonstrating and running for elected positions and as a result the minority influence will be swamped by the overwhelming white numbers (9/10 overall in the UK) and drop back down again, hopefully to the level that represents their very small numbers. Then perhaps the cycle starts all over again, who knows.

All that being said all this problem is at a local level in a very small number of local influential positions, the vast majority of the top positions in this country, in politics, in business, in the police and the armed forces, in the legal profession and every other area are still filled with the same people that filled them 200 years ago (often from the same families) and they are all white.
