Portugal's newest submarine on seal trials (photos)

Though of sharing a photo of Portugal's newest submarine, NRP Tridente, on sea trials. They say it is the biggest class of subs built in Germany since the WW2. They are 10-15% bigger than greek / korean SSK-214s and more suited to oceanic waters.

"Papanikolis" in the water and "NRP Arpćo" - Second of the class, soon to be put on sea trials aswell

I've tried very hard to post a picture of the greek "Papanikolis" and "tridente" side by side in dock, but somehow the pictures don't show here. It would be very interesting to compare. Sorry people.
