But it is different, OK? All the blue background images have been changed for smaller, faster ones, and the title and the diners are each now separate images in a little table of their own. The overall effect of this (apart from being faster to load) is that the design now copes with over-wide pages much better (ie: when the central, blue area of the design is pushed wider than 600 pixels by someone's long title, long name, or someone posting a large image within a thread).

I know the curtains still look awful, but that'll come later. I'm still thinking about subtle, recessed lights for the top area. Gently twinkling stars are a possibility, but that starts to push the file sizes up a bit.

This is going to be behind text, remember? LOL... you'd never read it with all that going on behind it. I think the stars are abandoned now, but good try and thanks

I have pinched the red sparkly stars. I just may be able to use a single instance of this in the page footer. I'll try it later to see. Thanks again [test edit]
