I don't think they read any of the Chat Rooms, barely spending time at their own. The MB Forum here is a new venture, only recently added to the magazine of forums running through my Starship Titanic account.
The Lyrics Site is an older venture, originally started by me ('Lemonade Pop') at the now defunct
The Music Vine.I was rather unimpressed with other lyrics sites, finding them either/all inaccurate, too gimmicky, or too full of opinion to be of real working interest. So I started my own Lyrics Site, deliberately simple, no opinion, and nothing about me. To my surprise, it quickly became the Internet's No. 1 site, which it still is.
So now I have added a Chat Forum to it, because I wanted something different from the big, intimidating Bulletin Boards that exist out there. These seem quickly to get bogged down in internal politics, bickering, in voting on who has the nicest smile, and so on. People coming new to them find topics with 300 replies, which the BB is very proud of, but which a newcomers finds just impossible to start into. So the Chat Forum here is deliberately lighter and faster, and I am quite happy for it to take a year to become successful. if I have five people chatting amiably here about The Moody Blues who have never chatted anywhere else on the Internet, I will judge that a success.
So, you see, Milliways is not an MB forum. It is The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe, something which only readers of Douglas Adams (author of
The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy) might understand.
Each forum has a fairly distinctive 'atmosphere' to it, and by that I include Blondie's forums (
The Steam Room and
The Galaxy Café) and Ed's forum (
The Blue Shed). Milliways was built really as an experiment to see what could be done within the limitations of Network54's chat engine. It is a full-scale graphics test

You are, of course, welcome in all of them.
