On dirait que ça va s'arranger ce matin sur PMMS, vous laisse prendre connaissance de la réponse mise sur le blog :
Site update
I have to say Im a little overwhelmed by the responses posted here, as well as feeling a little guilty. Maybe I have over-reacted a little due to my present health situation, but more on this shortly.
First off let me explain how the Google Blog software works as this is different from a normal forum type situation.
Any comments added to a blog entry are not made public immediately like on a forum. When a comment is posted the blog administrator receives an e-mail with the comment details (who from, text of comment etc.) and then he/she has the ability to Publish or Reject the comment.
This is why some people may not see their comment for quite some hours after posting it. If for example someone in the UK posts a comment when its the middle of the night here I wont get to see the e-mail till next day, this can be up to 8 hours or more given the time zones.
I agree with the majority view that I should just ignore these fools as I have done in the past with such individuals. But what makes these attacks by the panther project different are the vicious personal nature and the level of dishonesty that purveys the whole thing. Also the sustained level of these attacks where they simply ignore anything that shows they have it wrong and just plough on regardless with there single minded view of events.
This uses the old adage tell a lie often enough and people will start to believe it, it also shows an underlying psychological issue with the dismissal of alternate views while mindlessly repeating their version.
Maybe Im a bit naïve but Ive not encountered such a level of nastiness and overt dishonesty directed at such a personally level before.
Its interesting that these people have already claimed my announcement was just a stunt to get fan mail. Also as an indication of the levels of dishonesty to which they will stoop is this comment from Mr.Balkwill in one of his blog postings I had previously even sent him some 600 images of the Munster Sturmtiger which I had personally paid for.
That is just an outright lie, not worthy of further comment but does show the desperation and makes you ask just how far they will stoop with this dishonesty?
This from people with a long track record of abusing those that dont do their bidding and worse still the use of false IDs and aliases to post on various forums, in some cases having conversations with themselves to promote their products.
This is not just between me and these sad people but is has far greater implications for the hobby as a whole. I dont mean to be dramatic but do we want an internet modelling community where the bullies reign and people are so intimidated to make any comment criticizing a certain product or disagree with the prevailing thought police without being attacked?
Its up to everyone to prevent this from happening by running these people and those that would support them out of town, yes I am fully aware that is contrary to my announcement of yesterday and Im in quite a bind over that right now.
This is in no way meant to stifle free speech or the expression of alternate views, this is to be encouraged but when it gets to the level of these people and their documented dishonestly stretching over such a long period, wouldnt the hobby be a much better place without them?
Quite frankly it leaves one questioning the professional judgment of the companies that would deal with people with clearly demonstrated levels of dishonesty.
A few final points to consider:
I have posted a link to the Flame blog but has Mr.Balkwill posted a link to my review addendum? Of course he hasnt because he doesnt want people to see the other side of the story, only his twisted version of events.
If I and Jon Bailey are branded liars over some vague connection between e-mail comments and actual events then we should ask.
Mr.Balkwill said in an e-mail to me on 27 April 2007 I have a DVD in print which should be out in about 10 days. Yet it wasnt released for some 6 to 7 weeks, does that not make him a liar?
In the initial Panther Project page Mr.Balkwill stated he would update the page and DVD with any errors found. Yet 2 years later and after admitting publicly there are errors on the DVD he has not made any attempt to for fill his commitments made 2 years earlier, does that not make him a liar?
Anyway I wont bore you further as these people have been exposed for what they are and I am spending far too much time on this. But as mentioned it has been extremely hard to deal with given the present circumstances.
As a bit of therapy I have written a review (yes me) of the panther projects latest media event, the YouTube Terrys downfall video, enjoy.
My comments in the DVD review addendum say all the rest, so lets leave it at that.
And to the sites future?
Unfortunately the present hosting arrangement has been terminated and the site will be offline either tomorrow or the next day depending where you are in the World, sorry.
The bottom line is I need a break having been doing this single handed for 13 years as well as the current health issues which have not helped dealing with all this other rubbish.
But I will find it a new home and it will hopefully be back on line as a reference site within a week.
There wont be any real updates for a few weeks as I take time out hopefully giving me time to recharge and might actually build a model just for the hell of it.
When the updates resume it will like a new beginning and as such I will again post news of DML kits along with every one else. As they say the ball will be in their court to see if that continues.
Thanks again for all you messages of support, really has been gratifying as well as humbling but does help put things in perspective. I have never made myself out to be any sort of expert on anything other than a simple modeller trying to make honest assessments of kits available to those who want them.
If others want to put labels on me thats up to them but I have no illusions at all and know full well if I did go away in a few months people would be saying Terry who?
The hobby is far bigger than one person or a few cockroaches.
Cheers

Je me disais aussi que quelqu'un enverrais des post de support pour le réconforter et lui dire qu'il ne doit pas lâcher à cause de minables sans scrupules qui veulent le faire taire.
