Yes, that's my real name. I'm Toni. And I'm a fan of Dingdong Dantes. Only Dingdong Dantes. Never a fan of Toni, Tanya, Judy Ann, Regine, not even Karylle (though I don't hate her coz her sister is a friend of my older sister in Las Vegas and she did well in school in fairness). Pwede pa sana si Iza Calzado coz she is one pretty lady.
Anyway, I went to Google to check anything about Dingdong. And I stumbled on this forum. Can't believe you guys still believe Dingdong is still in love with Antoinette.
I've been a fan of Dingdong since TGIS days. I admit I never believed that he and Antoinette were an item. Parang sobrang guapo ni DD for AT. Baduy pa kasi si AT that time (though nothing much has improved the last time I saw her perform in ASAP but at least her hair is nicer now). Ayoko talagang maniwala. But I saw them with my own eyes at the Ateneo parking lot, at the ATM withdrawing money in Tomas Morato if I'm not mistaken. I saw a pic of them where DD was hugging Antoinette and kissing her while holding a glass of beer on his left hand. It was a private party. And AT hugging DD while sitting on his lap. That was years ago.
Anyway, I finally accepted it was DD and AT. I hated it coz I don't like AT. But in a way, I pitied her too and admired her in a way. AT obviously love DD very much to maintain her distance and keep quiet about the whole thing while DD works his way in showbiz. I admire her for that.
DD never admitted in public that she and AT went steady for four or five years. Though this is the case, I felt that DD loved AT, as in true love. Five years is no joke especially for a guy like DD na maraming sabit. Kahit maraming nalilink na babae before with DD (the beauty queen - I forgot her name, Chynna Hortaleza - they dated, China Cojuanco, etecetera), I felt somehow it's AT he goes back to.
Beats me why he never admitted their relationship on air, as in frankly admitted, when their loveteam is kind of strong. Marami silang fans katulad nyo dito. Nakakataka bakit hindi inamin ni Dingdong. Probably a career move since we all know, in love teams, naiiwan ang lalaki. A wise move I should say, pero unfair naman talaga with AT (kahit ayaw ko sya, reasonable naman akong tao).
Finally DD is beyond keeping a girl in the background just because of his career.
I'm happy that DD has finally matured and admitted he has an ongoing relationship with Karylle. He's 25 going 26, he's not anymore doing the loveteam kind of thing I suppose. Even in Moments of Love, he was paired with Iza Calzado. Yes, in most publicities, sentro pa rin sa kanila ni Karylle yung article but I guess his fear (and his manager's fear) of being stuck in a loveteam is gone hence he admitted already his relationship with Karylle.
Sana lang talagang mahal nya si Karylle. Para kasing hindi showy si Dingdong on air. But we saw them in Greenbelt, and there he's all over Karylle and seems they are enjoying their time together.
Pero eto lang ang talagang observation ko. Even if AT had a bf back in the states, I feel that she's not yet over DD. And I have to say this also, I feel that Karylle is more in love w/ DD than DD is in love w/ her. Observations lang naman to and feeling ng isang babae. At ng isang super fan ni DD.
Hindi kaya ang bottom line, ang talagang mahal ni DD eh ang sarili lang nya?
I told you guys, I love DD very much, I'm a great fan of his pero reasonable akong tao. I can bluntly admit what DD's shortcoming is.
Pero sana mali ako. At sana this time, DD will act like a man and stay true with Karylle. I hope too DDAT fans (and AT also) can move on and not get stuck with DDAT. Maybe DDAT was great, but it's all part of the past. Please move on. May boyfriend na naman pala si AT di ba (or ex na ba nya?), so leave DD alone. Coz if he's still really in love with AT, he will make a way, and will not anymore let his manager decide for him. As I've said, he's 25, and he can already admit to the public kung sino talaga ang gusto nya. At nagkataong si Karylle na yun, hindi na si AT.
Let him enjoy his life with Karylle. Anyway naman, he's not young anymore, he knows what he's doing at higit sa lahat, inamin niya in public, mahal na mahal nya si Karylle. Tuwang tuwa ako when he said in SOP during his birthday, "Karylle, you know that I love you very, very much..". Not because of Karylle but because FINALLY, DINGDONG HAD THE BALLS TO LET EVERYONE KNOW HE'S IN LOVE. Napaka-careful kasi ni DD minsan, kulang sa risk and adventure.
I repeat, I am not a fan of Karylle. All I want is for Dingdong to be happy, to have a good life ahead. At sana naman mature roles na gawin nya. Hanep ang billboard nya sa Hanford ha. Ang ganda ng katawan. I hope he will bare some skin in his movies.

I don't think people here really "hold onto" the past ATDD. I think it is just a forum where people still chat about Toni. If you notice there isn't much news lately about anything and I believe we have all realized that they are no longer an item.
That doesn't mean we won't support our Toni! I haven't heard much news of her at all..nor do I really know where to look for news on her. I just come here once or twice a month to see what she is up to. I understand that the past is the past and I believe it to.
Five years is a big deal and I believe that Toni & DD will always care for each other because of their past relationship during their younger years. As of now I don't care about them as a couple. If they get back together good if not I don't care. I just want Toni to be happy in whatever she chooses to do in life and to be succesful in all her endevors. I respect your comments and I hope your respect mine too. =)

I respect your opinion, Anonymous. I just hope some people here will refrain from saying nasty things about Dingdong or Karylle coz it's so unfair. But then, same here with me, I care for Dingdong Dantes and will support him all the way. And I hope, he'll end up with someone he truly loves and who truly loves him.
Right now, I envy Karylle. Kakagigil si Dingdong!!!

Hi Chona! I don't think DD is using Karylle. For the following reasons:
1. Karylle is not popular. DD is more popular than Karylle by a million fold. In other words, walang mawawala sa career ni DD maging girlfriend man nya or hindi si DD. Dingdong is the one carrying their so-called loveteam.
Example, sa Encantadia, I don't think the fantaserye will be as kilig as it was had Karylle was given a different partner (say, Dennis Trillo or Alfred Vargas). Si Karylle ang nadadala ng popularity ni DD.
2. Karylle has no mass appeal. She belongs to the A/B crowd and she's too dry to be in showbiz in fact. I don't find her as exciting as her mother, Zsazsa Padilla.
3. Karylle looks very ordinary. She's not ugly but not what you may call pretty unlike her mother. Karylle is an average girl in terms of looks.
4. Karylle is not controversial or is likely to be one. Actually, pareho nga sila ni DD. Kulang sa "intriga".
Probably, if DD had opted to "use" anyone, it could have been Judy Ann Santos coz she's really popular and has humungous following. But fortunately, DD is not a user.
Now regarding who broke up w/ whom, who cares? The way DD treated AT before, I would have advised her to break up w/ DD. Sobrang sacrifice and for what.
Anyway, I hope DD's movie with Katrina Halili will push through. According to publicities, it would be like Pretty Woman.

Hi toni! Hindi ko sinasabi na career-wise ginamit siya ni Dingdong, it's more on the personal side. May mga bagay ako na nalalaman na hindi ko na dapat sinasabi na rito dahil public forum 'to at alam ko na maraming showbiz writers na nagpupunta at nagbabasa rito. Saka, tahimik naman si Toni Taus. Ayokong sa akin pa maunang manggaling.
Natatawa na lang ako, toni dahil di mo kilala nang lubusan si Dingdong. May mga impormasyon, obserbasyon at analysis ka na kulang at di-kapani-paniwala.

You're correct that I don't know what's really on DD's heart and mind coz I don't know him personally. I'm not close to him or any of his fans. And I'm pretty sure too, even the closest of his fans wouldn't know what's going on in his mind. He shares up to what he can only share and I'm sure edited yun. It's something for himself or for his really, really closer friends to know. Not us, mere fans of DD. Wala tayong (or kami in this case) karapatang ipagpilitan na malaman ang bawat motibo nila. That's why I keep on saying, opinion ko ang sinasabi ko based on what I have observed and what I hear from different people. I know several blockmates of mine who are friends of DD at school.
I just don't get the point bakit niya gagamitin si Karylle (or kahit sinomang babae) for personal reasons. Sex or someone to lean on emotionally or whatever. DD is old enough to really choose the girl for him. Kung talagang mahal pa nya si AT, e di sundan nya sa US. Mukang di na naman sya pinipigilan ng manager nya. Or they may carry a long-distance love affair if they really want to stick together.

Sana lang, if people here will talk about AT, wag ng banggitin si DD IF IT'S IN A BAD LIGHT. Kaya ko tuloy nasabi na hindi kayo (and even AT) maka-move on kasi laging pinag-uusapan pa rin na "talaga namang mahal pa ni DD si AT", "ginagamit lang si Karylle", "malandi si Karylle", etc. Pwede nyo naman siguro pag-usapan si AT kung ano mga present activities nya, etcetera. At isang simpleng bagay lang, like what I mentioned earlier, if DD truly loves AT until now, eh di ipagsigawan nya. Wala ng pumipigil sa kanya. Made na ang career nya ng walang ka-love team. Kaso di naman nga nya ginagawa, at ilang beses na nyang sinabi na he had move on. Let's accept that as it is.
Wag na lang ilagay si DD at mga taong mahal nya in a bad light. Yun lang naman. Pag-usapan nyo na lang si AT and whatever she's keeping herself busy with. Kayo kasi ang nagmumukang sour grapes kaka-reminisce nyo ng mga past ni DDAT and how so lovelorn DD is w/ AT until now. Like hello. Wake up.
Nahihiya lang ako but my sister's barkada in the office is DD's mom's bestfriend. DD in fact attended the blessing of the re-opening of this famous burger resto and pizza chain coz through his mom. This was about 2 weeks ago. Anyway, sana lang magkalakas ako ng loob tanungin sya kung ano ba yung panggagamit nya kay Karylle. Of course malabong gawin ko to. But baka sakali. Yeah, I'm dreaming.

excuse me! hindi pa made c DD noh! one movie is not enough para sabihing made na sya. Actually wala pa syang masyadong napapatunayan sa career nya. Kaya hindi mo masasabing pwede nya ng gawin kung ano man ang gusto nya dahil wala na syang katatakutan dahil made na sya. I guess hindi totoo yan. Sori toni ha kahit fan ka ni DD eto talaga ung opinion ko. Wala pang napapatunayan c DD. Bano pa rin sya sa acting. Physically oo OK c DD pero acting wise or talent wise wala talaga syang binatbat.
