Great game tonight

Burlington moves to 4-0 with a pretty decisive win over Oakville 6-2

Koudys with three helpers.... Brewer with 2G 1A

Colin Wright who continues to dominate both ends of the ice chipped in with 2 assists for a total of 8 points in 4 games. No bad for D man.

Cougs now play back to back games against Brampton next thursday/friday

Anyone notice a common theme with the Johnny Mac/Kevin Lachance travelling roadshow? All these guys do is ...... WIN! Leaving their former employers left in their wake! No matter the jersey, if there's a contending team in the West, John MacDonald and Kevin Lachance likely have something to do with that organization! Just a fluke? ..... I doubt it very much! lol

Great Game Saturday Night

As it seems the teams to beat in the west this year will most likely be Oakville and Burlington, I took the drive out to take this game in Saturday night. Not to take away from Burlington's victory but I thought the score was a little decieving and Burlington were aided with the help of Oakville's continuous run to the sin bin.

At even strength, Oakville seemed to take the play to Burlington but could not capitilize on their chances where Burlinton were very opportunist and capitilized on their's.

Very impressed with Oakville's speed and strength and was equally impressed with Burlington's team approach to defensive hockey starting with Hare in net, an excellent defense core led by their captain and supported equally by all forwards.

I think these two teams are going to provide us with some very entertaining hockey throghout the year. Great job by both teams.

Oakville will get a goalie and that will help. The kid that played the other night let in come softies. Not to take anything away from Burlington though.

I saw Johnny Mac at the Wings game last Monday and almost didn't notice him . Johnny has lost 70 pounds over the summer. Now he has his Cougars playing like a lean mean scoring machine.
