Who would have thought they would be the only undefeated team early in the season?

But the "Latin" writeups from the Cougars' website really suggests there is something special, if different, going on in Burlington town.

And to think, all the while both Johnny Mac and Kev succeed with class and integrity! No backroom deals or huge cash purchases for players, as the Cougars quite simply can't compete with the big spenders.

Just a couple of approachable, ordinary guys who are capable of extraordinary achievements! That's all!

So parents, where and who would you choose to put your sons well being with? A couple of reputable, above board, approachable types like John and Kev, or with the countless shyster's who WILL lie, cheat and steal from YOU all in favor of their next meal ticket!

Two class guys no doubt about that but let's not coronate the Cougars just yet, we are only four games into the season and a lot can happen between now and February.

Agreed Ron! But no matter the achievements (or lack thereof) that Cougars experience this year, one things for sure, that being neither John nor Kev would compromise their integrity in search of their next "gig"!

So, while I can appreciate as much as anyone (and possibly even more than some) that the season ISN'T determined in one week of play, the one thing that will be a constant throughout the season, win or lose are the ethics of Cougars bench staff!

Boy there must be some teams that are wishing these two talents were either still available or are sorry for terminating their positions within the previous organization!

What can anyone tell me about him.
what age, where he played when younger.Where he coached in minor hockey.
I'm wondering if it is someone I knew years ago.

Brampton will give them a battle tonight if they are in the mood..number five win might not come easy. Defensive record is amazing, just six goals against.

They didn't let him go. He saw the writing on the wall and left. RT is like the Wizard of Oz in Hamtown but just like the movie when you look behind the curtain it's another story.

BTW it's McDonald (without the "a")
