Broekema is a quick and nimble little forward who can put points up if ice time is available. If he has one problem, it is that he often tries to do too much. It is a common problem when a player senses his team going badly and forgets the team game and tries to take them all on his own shoulders. It can go from bad to worse.
Emmon Courtney is big and given a specific role, if he chooses to take it, can be a helpful player in the right situations.
Both played in Trenton where I saw them a number of times.
Both have a lot to prove with Trenton coming to Pickering town and they'll both take it to task.
They are good pickups for Pickering and didn't fit the Cobourg plan obviously.
