Like I said in an earlier post, If Bruce is sold or traded, It will not be to any team in this leauge. He will be traded or sold to perhaps a team in western Canada. There is also a posability that Bruce may not play anywhere if he holds out on where he is delt.Now I may be wrong (not the first time)This is just how I see it, I think that perhaps Bruce has burned to many bridges behind him.

Kind of difficult to maintain an impressive point total when you're sitting on the sidelines isn't it? We (Bruce and I) have actually communicated via e-mail on a couple of occasions. My suggestion to him just a couple of weeks ago, as it is today is to suck it up, be the best player he can be and let us take care of the negative crap on the forums!
It appears that Bruce has decided to do his own thing, which "WILL" only hurt him in the long run! He's going to look back on this a couple of decades from now and see just how much damage he caused himself!
For the record I like Bruce Crawford as a player ..... ALOT! But I'm afraid that he's penny stock at this point as NO team wants to deal with the accompanying attitude which will no doubt affect the entire chemistry of the most important consideration ....... "THE TEAM"!

You have the right idea. Unfortunatley they will not trade him to Oakville, unless it is for LARGE MONEY, I find I am always having to repeat myself when it comes to the selling or trading of Bruce. Money talks here people, whether you believe it or not, I am very familiar with the organization. Your idea is great, I think he would be a very valuable asset to Oakville, Georgetown, Burlington, but I don't think it will happen, however, maybe to the highest bidder. Like I said before, Bruce after this year will SUCCEED out of this CHINCY league that it has become over the years.

i have been a fan of oakville for many years now and the recent skilled chargers were and still are filled with players and management who are completely negative to the game.
the chargers seem to have players on their team other than crawford who give their teammates a lot more hell then Crawford seemed to (names wont be mentioned), i think it is just the atmosphere of the team that does it to the kids. i remember back 6-7 years ago it was the same there. this is probably the reason why he put forth little effort, there is no motivation or care to win, just to simply proceed to the next season.
he has unlimited potential if he is stationed with a good coach and the right team and from what i have witnessed the 100 points last year were probably almost all legitimate, though just like all top players in this league he probably did have some phantom points. contrary to belief Bruce Crawford is actually a great kid.

Well Prolinesuks you hit the nail on the head when you say "What Bruce can accomplish when he wants to"and "When he fells to lets say PUT IT IN MOTION".There is the problem,Bruce doesn't seem to always want to.Now I know not everyone is able to perform at a high level all the time,thats just the way it is sometimes,but there is no excuse for not wanting to(as you say).
I want you to understand something, I do not dislike Bruce,as a matter of fact I have had conversations with Bruce in the past,and I have always found him to be pleasent to talk to, and I like the young man.
I'm only going by what I see when I watch him play.Let me add that yes,he has all the skills to be a superstar in this leauge,but his lack of wanting to "PUT IT IN MOTION" has cost him at this level.Do you realy think that they will put up with it at any pro level for very long,I don't think so.

Please. Bruce is the most dominant player in this Division, when Bruce wants to be. Bruce has decided that he does not want to play here anymore. He has a place to play right here in Mississauga. I respect his decision and will do everything in my power and Our GM will do everything in his power to help Bruce out. I do believe that we deserve fair value for Bruce, but we will do this as soon as humanly possible. I wish Bruce all the luck in the world in all aspects of his life.

I think Bruce needs to find the right coach to play for. Nothing against Jay Anderson, Scotty Bowman would lose all of his hair in Mississauga.
My short list, Huntsville or Aurora. With those coaches he will either have a very short visit or a very sucessful one. It is up to Bruce, he has lost something for the game. I think both of those coaches could bring it back.

For the record (and most definitely NOT because I have to explain anything to anyone who disrespects the game as much as you do Chris) I have communicated on a few occasions with Bruce Crawford via e-mail, offering my support, as WELL AS MY CONCERNS for the choices that he is making with regards to his team mates, his coach and his future!
I have NEVER aired anything but a genuine concern for Bruce and have communicated as much! Other participants may not be as glamourous when refering to Bruce, but they too have offered their opinions and concerns, which by the way is what these forums are supposed to be all about, can you at very least understand that?
Every single thread is read and assessed as to whether or not an opinion has passed through that grey area and into a slanderous statement, which to date they haven't!
Funny that while you are concerned about my behavior towards Bruce, who by the way is an ADULT (unlike some adolescents on here, teehee), You and the three ringed circus in your vacinity launch verbal, threatening attacks against teenagers and constantly slander referees, linesman, the opposing players and coaching staff with NO regard for who is in earshot! Their manager Tony Clarke is refusing to trade the kid in order to pocket big cash, I know of teams in this league offering the league maximum and a few solid players ontop and he refuses to trade the kid.
For a 5 year veteran this is unheard of, I would have expected more out of the Mississauga Chargers. I suppose this is the reason why they are always a bottom feeder team with no recruits, they treat their players even the most elite and veteran ones like absolute crap, I believe our blades have only lost to them a handful of times since the new millenium began! I would like to see another player in this league who has played at least a game in this league in 6 straight years, probably none.
We are all pulling for you Bruce, the league should do something about this and Tony Clarke, they pulled this charade years ago with Chris Rebernik...Just is not right.

I cannot express enough that it is all about the MONEY. The GM gets 10% of all monies he makes for the team, maybe he now wants 20% and the owner has said NO WAY!!!!! So now Bruce sits , but that is ok, his day will come sooner or later, but it WILL COME. The organization is Mickey Mouse at best!!! I always heard that the owner was sick of being in last place. Well, that is bull****, if you know what I mean.
