Question For Prolinesucks?

Just out of curiosity (as it's driving me crazy, teehee) and considering that I don't have an e-mail address of yours to correspond outside the boundaries of this forum, I need to ask this question here ..... so here goes ....

Are you in any way related, or have a very close association with either Rick Bince or his wife? I'm not suggesting anything in particular, nor am I trying to steer you into a corner.

What I am trying to determine is how and why someone could be so obsessed with one player, one team?

When you said, and I quote "There is a certain person looking out for Bruce's best interests, that you can count on" ... it's quite apparent that you are very close to the Chargers or at very least were at one time!

You certainly don't have to respond to my enquiry, and I wouldn't have typically made such an enquiry on an open forum. Considering that I had no other way of airing such question, this was all that I could think of and I apologize in advance for being so public with my curiosity.

If you'd prefer you can correspond with me during the day at thayward@diamondair.com , or of an evening at either tigerpaws92@live.com or thayward13@cogeco.ca .

Thanks "prolinesucks" and have a great day!

Tony

You can count on it, I have known Bruce before he played for the Chargers.
As far as being friends of Rick Bince and his wife, I know them, however I have not spoken to them for long time. Just take my word Tony, Bruce knows who he can come to regarding playing elsewhere once this year is over.

I will contact you one day, and hey, you know Tony, I like you, you are one of the most upfront, honest people I know by reading what you have to say. However, most are not LIKE YOU!!! I will call you one day we can have an ice tea. Ok.

I will contact you regarding your picks for Sunday.
If you want we can also do Hockey picks.

Let me know.

"G" Damn it "prolinesucks" it seems that the Bills are even better than I gave them credit for! Hell they hold down the lead in the AFC East with a record of 5 and 1 (6 games) and yet you said, and I quote "NFL started 3 weeks ago!!!" Holy crap the Bills have 5 wins in ONLY three weeks! Now there's a team that's Superbowl Bound! (teehee)

Wonder how the 'Dog feels about his dysfunctional Cowgirls NOW? (lol)

NFL Pool begins this weekend. Just for fun and braging rights.

The NFL season inbetween weeks seven(last) and eight(coming).
Bills are 5-1 and have had their off weekend.
Cowboys have not had their by-week and they are 4-3.

We will see which team ands up where and in better shape at seasons end.

For you Tony, enjoy;

"From Forbes Magazine, dated September 10, 2008, lists the Cowboys as the most valuable football franchise in the world, with an estimated value of approximately $1.612 billion, ahead of the Washington Redskins ($1.538 billion) and the New England Patriots ($1.324 billion).[4] They are also one of the wealthiest teams in the NFL, generating almost $269 million in annual revenue."

"The Cowboys have been one of the most successful teams of the modern era (since 1960). The team has won five Super Bowls and eight Conference Championships. The Cowboys have more victories (41) on Monday Night Football than any other NFL team; the Miami Dolphins are second with 39 and the San Francisco 49ers are third with 38.[6] They hold NFL records for the most consecutive winning seasons (20, from 1966 to 1985) and most seasons with at least ten wins (25). The team has earned the most post-season appearances (29, which includes another league record of 56 post-season games, winning 32 of them), the most division titles with 19, the most appearances in the NFC Championship Game (14), and the most Super Bowl appearances (8), two more than any other NFL team. The Cowboys also played in two NFL championship games before the NFL's 1970 merger with the American Football League. The Cowboys became the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in just four years (a feat that has been matched only once since, by the New England Patriots). They are also tied with the San Francisco 49ers and the Pittsburgh Steelers for having the most Super Bowl wins (5). The Cowboys' success and popularity has earned them the nickname "America's Team". In a statistical comparison of all teams since the AFL-NFL merger, ESPN's Page 2 placed the Cowboys at the top of its Ultimate Power Ranking."

Tony, the Soon to be Somewhere else Bills have a most stat too, "Most Super Bowl" appearances without a win.

The only thing more screwed up than the Dall-ass Cowboys and Jerry Jones is the phuking mess in Oakland with Al Davis! (teehee). If it's not Turrell .... "30 passes aren't enough for me per game" Owens, then it's the latest dysfunctional sandbox playmate Pacman Jones heading the news with his latest arrest or suspension! (teehee)

Oh and if that's not enough of a distraction, then there's always the Hollywood story of Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson attemting to share the spotlight with all of the other crazy's in glitterland! We're sorry to interupt this soapbox opera environment, but is there any chance we can get on with what's supposed to be going on in Dall-ass ..... football season? (teehee)

Only two games against opponents with a sub .500 record! And take a look at those power rankings would ya baby? lol

Latest Power Rankings

Current Team Previous

 1 Titans · Trends 1

They can take a firm grip of the division title with a victory over the Colts next Monday night. The way they are running it might make for a long night for the Colts.

 2 Steelers · Trends 2

Coming off the bye week, the Bengals were the perfect recipe to get acclimated to playing again. Their schedule gets a lot tougher in the next couple of weeks, starting Sunday against the Giants.

3 Giants · Trends 3

Was there any doubt Tom Coughlin would get them to respond after that beat-down in Cleveland? Next week they have the toughie at Pittsburgh.

 4 Bills · Trends 4

As long as Trent Edwards plays like he did against the Chargers, the Bills will push for the division title. They\'re better than we thought.

5 Buccaneers · Trends 5

The way Jeff Garcia is playing, it\'s time to look at them as a serious playoff contender. Their game at Dallas will be an interesting one this week.

6 Redskins · Trends 7

At 5-2, they have the look of a playoff team. But how good are they? Do we really know? One thing\'s for sure: Jason Campbell takes care of the football.

7 Cardinals · Trends 9

Coming out of their bye week, they face a tough trip to Carolina. They have to show they can win those kinds of games on the road to be considered a real playoff threat.

8 Panthers · Trends 11

With Julius Peppers playing at a high level again, that defense is special. They combine that with a running game and big plays from Steve Smith in the passing game, which makes them a tough team to beat.

9 Patriots · Trends 14

That looked like the Patriots of old Monday night. They dominated on both sides of the football. If Matt Cassel can play that way, they just might sneak their way deep into the playoffs.

10 Cowboys · Trends 10

Forget all the Super Bowl talk. They have to worry about winning games again. They have a big decision to make on whether to play Tony Romo.

11 Packers · Trends 16

They head to the bye week at 4-3 and there are no more questions about Aaron Rodgers. That\'s the most important thing.

12 Falcons · Trends 13

At 4-2, they are the first-half stunner. The schedule gets tougher in the coming weeks off of their bye.

13 Jaguars · Trends 15

They went through a brutal six-game start, but now the schedule gets tissue soft for the next three weeks. They are also getting back a lot of injured players, which they need.

14 Jets · Trends 8

Eric Mangini has had trouble winning on the road. That has to change if they are to be a playoff team. So Brett Favre came back for a .500 season? Hmm.

 15 Broncos · Trends 12

It\'s going bad quickly. If Jay Cutler\'s finger is a problem for a while, they\'re in big trouble. Ask Dallas about that.

16 Colts · Trends 6

Just when we think they\'re back, they revert to their struggling ways. If they don\'t beat the Titans this week they can kiss the division title goodbye.

 17 Eagles · Trends 18

They needed the bye to try and get back some of their key people, including Brian Westbrook.

18 Bears · Trends 21

Lost in the 48 points they scored against Minnesota was the poor play of the defense. That has to change in the next nine games.

19 Ravens · Trends 20

The best thing to come out of beating Miami was how well Joe Flacco played. That was his first road victory, and it showed he could play well on the road.

20 Chargers · Trends 17

They head to London in need of a victory. The biggest worry has to be the way their pass defense is playing, which isn\'t a good thing against Drew Brees.

21 Saints · Trends 19

At 3-4, they have to get it going. They head to London almost in a must-win if they are to win the NFC South.

22 Texans · Trends 24

After losing four consecutive games to open the season, they\'ve gotten the offense going to win two straight. Matt Schaub has come alive.

23 Rams · Trends 28

Jim Haslett is four victories away from getting the job for good. Just give it to him. It\'s clear he has made a difference.

 24 Vikings · Trends 22

They might want to brush up on their special teams this week. They let a lot of offense in Chicago go to waste.

25 Browns · Trends 23

The passing game went back to doing nothing against the Redskins, which is a concern. Derek Anderson has played well in one game all season long.

 26 Raiders · Trends 29

It\'s time the Raiders let JaMarcus Russell do more. The overtime throws he made against the Jets show that.

27 Dolphins · Trends 25

Can we ditch the Wildcat now? It took all of four weeks to figure it out. Getting the quarterback going should be more of a priority. Chad Henne?

28 Seahawks · Trends 26

No Matt Hasselbeck, no win. It\'s that simple. Mike Holmgren\'s final season is officially ugly.

29 49ers · Trends 27

So much for all that hope before the season. Mike Nolan is gone. Will it matter?

30 Chiefs · Trends 30

Will they win again? I say no. Don\'t worry. Matt Stafford will come to the rescue next spring.

31 Bengals · Trends 31

It gets worse by the week. It\'s time to shut down Carson Palmer. And after the season it might be time to shut down Marvin Lewis.

32 Lions · Trends 32

At least they didn\'t quit against the Texans. The rest of the season should be to find out if Dan Orlovsky or Drew Stanton can be the quarterback of the future.

So let's take a look at the Bills record and upcoming opponents shall we Wexdog? Currently sitting at 5-1 and having knocked off the very respectable playoff contending teams (San Diego, Jacksonville, Seattle), here\'s the remaining opponents for the Bills:

Sep 7 Seattle                                                                         Won 34-10

Sep 14 @Jacksonville                                                           Won 20-16

Sep 21 Oakland                                                                     Won 24-23

Sep 28 @St. Louis                                                                 Won 31-14

Oct 5 @Arizona                                                                     Lost 17-41

Week 6 BYE

Oct 19 San Diego                                                                  Won 23-14

Oct 26 @Miami 1:00pm                                                   (should be a win) - 2-4

Nov 2 N.Y. Jets 1:00pm                                                   (should be a win) - 3-3

Nov 9 @New England 1:00pm                                         (loss in a close one) - 4-2

Nov 17 Cleveland 8:30pm                                                (should be a win) - 2-4

Nov 23 @Kansas City 1:00pm                                          (should be a win) - 1-5

Nov 30 San Francisco 1:00pm                                          (should be a win) - 2-5

Dec 7 Miami 4:05pm                                                        (should be a win) - 2-4

Dec 14 @N.Y. Jets 1:00pm                                               (should be a win) - 3-3

Dec 21 @Denver 4:05pm                                                  (should be a win) - 4-3

Dec 28 New England 1:00pm                                            (should be a win) - 4-2

Only three of the Bills remaining ten games are against opponents with a record above .500 (New England whom they play twice currently at 4-2, and Denver with a record of 4-3)

Our bet is on Wexdog!

Like hell they won't 'Dog! .... Let's just wait until the end of December shall we? One thing for sure is that Dall -ASS won't be anywhere near the top of their Division! There very best they can hope for is a Wild Card, and even that's going out there on a limb! (teehee)

Now let me see, whose situation would I rather be in? .... hmmm ..... this is a tough one ...... hmmmmm ...... LIKE HELL IT IS! (TEE PHUKING HEE)

AFC East
Team W L T PCT PF PA Home Road AFC NFC DIV Streak
Buffalo 5 1 0 .833 149 118 3-0 2-1 3-0 2-1 0-0 Won 1
New England 4 2 0 .667 130 116 2-1 2-1 3-2 1-0 1-1 Won 1

Miami 2 4 0 .333 120 130 1-2 1-2 2-3 0-1 1-1 Lost 2

Or Dall-ASS? The choice is really difficult isn't it 'Dog? (lol). Third in the Division and a two game losing streak! ..... tuhhhhh!

Tony, looks like your fairy tale predictions are a bit off.

Oct 26 @Miami 1:00pm (should be a win) - 2-4

Nov 2 N.Y. Jets 1:00pm (should be a win) - 3-3

looks like the dolphins and jets took your script and left a big brown stain on it!

sure, i hope the bills make the playoffs...but from what ive seen the last 2 weeks, it may be a long shot.

I have faith the the Cowboys can turn it around after the bye week, which is needed. Many injuries and tired bodies out there sunday. I would mark December 14 on the calendar. The Cowboys will come out and get some revenge on those G-men!

Yep I completely blew it Kusa, and that's EXACTLY what I was thinking about as we were watching the game in "The Ralph" yesterday afternoon,  the Jets dismantled the Bills and I couldn't help but think that these divisional matchups are games that you HAVE to win!

Even with a respectable 5-3 record and a chance to redeem themselves next weekend in Foxboro, I can't help but think that the Buffalo Bills have literally pissed away their chances of making the playoffs by losing two, and may very well be three Divisional games by Sunday!

To go from a 4-0 start at the beginning of the season to lose three out of four in the next month kind of defeats the purpose of having a break neck start!

The same way that you build a hockey team from the net out, so too in football you HAVE to start with the guy under center as your foundation! Neither Buffalo nor Dallas have THAT guy! No Peyton, No Tom, hell not even a Kurt Warner who may very well win another MVP this year!
