Whitby got a big win over Bowmanville at home tonight 5-2. The Fury bulit a 4-0 lead by the middle of the second period and held on for the win. Kristofer Faric with only one goal to his credit coming into the contest scored twice and assisted on Trevor McKinney's insurance goal three minutes from the end. The third, and winning, Fury goal was scored by Tim Halloran and was just his second of the year. The Fury connected for three powerplay goals while the Eagles were 0-11. Jordan Tanner repelled 33 of 35 Bowmanville shots to record the victory.

Whitby had to do something because they are almost falling off the radar screen nose first, but congrates to them beating Bowmanville maybe this will put a spark in their club!

Now thats more like it. Better goaltending and Foote on a roll. All we need now is for Halloran to stop taking those dumbass stupid penalties all the time which kill the team.
