In a MacKinnon matchup the Vaughan Vipers travel to Brampton to play the Capitals. The Vipers are seventh in the table but fourth on point percentage. They have six wins and one loss in road games so far, so you might think Brampton doesn't have a ghost of a chance...however I'll take the Caps to prevail 5-4.

Trenton Hercs will be out to play some tricks on the second-place Voyageurs in Ruddock action in Kingston. Trenton have a good road record and the high-flying Vees will know they have been in a game but I'll take them at home 3-2..regulation time.

In a crossover game Burlington might think a visit to Whitby is like taking candy from a baby but beware the wrath of the Fury. A win for the Cougars will put them one point behind the Raiders in the MacKinnon. They get it 4-3 in a shootout despite missing goalie Andrew Hare who is at the Junior tournament.

The co- leaders in the Central the Junior Canadians go to Newmarket where the Hurricanes are ready to give them a fright. Look for a typical high-scoring Central division game 6-4 Newmarket.

The bottom two Central teams battle it out in Stouffffville where the Cobourg Cougars are the visitors. The Spirit surely the best team in the League yet to reach double figures in points will put a scare into the visitors and win big 7-3.

Mr. Ron
Just curious what your record is in calling wins-losses. Is the formula in that glass you're holding the secret to your success? How many glasses does it take to be 100%?

It took overtime for the Vipers to beat the Capitals 5-4. Dorian Peca's second of the game in the dying seconds was the winner. Mark Schiraldi got a goal and two assists. Doug Clarkson had three assists.

The Hercs put up a good fight in Kingston but the Vees won by a singleton..4-3. Trenton fought back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the game but Jarrett Burton clinched it for Kingston late in the third.

In an interlocking contest Burlington got a hard-fought 6-4 win in Whitby. Greg Carey's second of the game turned out to be the game winner while Josh Jooris chipped in with three helpers. Kristofer Faric netted twice for the Fury who had a 4-3 lead after two but could not withstand the Cougars charge in the final frame.

Newmarket used home ice to good advantage beating the Central-leading Junior Canadians 5-2. Andrew Buck had a productive night for the Hurricanes with two goals, including the winner, as well as an assist. Paul Rodrigues had both goals for Toronto.

The Cougars of Cobourg had a big road win in Stouffville by a 3-1 count. Troy Webster made 31 stops for the win. Jake Doseger had the game winner and Patrick Jobb had two assists.

A full 60 minutes by the Huricanes who certainly earned the win. Canes lost high flying Glen McCarron late in the 3rd when he collided with a train named Jason McDonough.
Both goalies played well - the loss went to Edwards though he had to make numerous tough saves. One of Sarjeants' best games of the season in goal for the Canes.
Another near empty barn at the Twinney Complex. Keswick fall, goat & lamb auctions must have started up for the year
