NOT Digging Up Dirt, BUT Have Been Requested By The Investigating Officer: Peter Mavroudis

Well it seems that the noose may be tightening around the neck of Peter Mavroudis, as we have learned that the localized warrant for his arrest has now been upgraded to a "Canada Wide Warrant". This is not intended to dig up dirt on Peter in any way. It seems that his dealings throughout the years may have finally caught up with him and if he doesn't turn himself in soon he may be in danger of losing his life ... if he hasn't already!

As most of you are aware, more often than not my submissions on this and other forums has a comical, tongue in cheek context related to them. Not this time however! I am NOT attempting to participate in tabloid journalism here. There is a very REAL danger to the life of Mav, and if he has access to a computer in either a public library or any other location where he can gain access to the internet, then WE are pleading with you Mav to please surrender to the authorities closest to you.

If anyone has ANY information with regards to the whereabouts of Peter Mavroudis please forward them directly to my e-mail address at either thayward13@cogeco.ca or tigerpaws92@live.com and I will ensure that the information is forwarded on to the investigating detective in Newmarket.

Thank you

Tony

I had mentioned to you in one of my threads, that the warrent was only Ontario Wide, because if they seen him in the arena in Vancouver, they would have arrested him. That's why I know it was not a Canada Wide Warrent. As you, I hope the Peter is ok!!!

Sorry for asking. (Bad timing on my part). I to have known Peter for a few years. I am also worried about him, so are other people who have known him quite closly for MANY YEARS., back to when he played the game.
They feel just as sick about this situation as you or anyone else, belive me.
We can make pleas for Peter, however he is a big man, and will do want he feels he has to do. It is an very unfortunate situation.

How do you plea to someone who has obviously changed his cell phone number?
Now that this is a CANADA WIDE WARRANT, which it should have been from the onset, maybe the police will be able to track him down. We can only Hope and Pray for him. I know that I will.

Hey prolinesucks, I dont imagine that Mavs been using his cell phone for quite some time now! If he's on the run, which apparently he is, there's no way in hell that he'd have anything in his possession that if interrogated, would identify him as Peter Mavroudis!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

As the detective had explained to me, he's no doubt utilizing any one of his two or three aliases!

I know that Peter has not been using his regular cell phone, why would he?
If he would have used his old one, he would be pinged and they would be able to get ahold of him. So that leaves us with nothing. I don't think Peter is reading these threads either, I am sure he cares less. Peter is worried about Peter, as we to are. So hopefully they can track him down, and maybe save him from others and himself.

We must remember "PLS" that "THESE" stupid, ill informed forums MAY be Peters' "ONLY" source for interfacing with the world that "was" familiar to him (as was explained to me by the detective) and a source to which he can't be identified!

We all know, through the former players in Mavs care, that he frequented these sites with regularity and had "The Cage" as a favorite on his home computer and in the Raider office where he would "ALWAYS" read but "NEVER" post, as I was informed that he didn't know how to login onto Network54.

Having said that, he could still access our forum without the fear of being identified, simply by going into ANY public library throughout this country/continent! No revelation there! His only concern would be getting caught in the library by authorities who are aware of the warrant for his arrest!

Could you imagine living like that "PLS"? Always looking over your shoulder? Hell I get concerned when I'm late paying my Amex bill that my hotel is charged to, or if I'm late sending my due quarterly taxes in! Other than e few bucks delinquency charge or some interest added that's about the extent of my negligence TODAY!

I couldn't imagine looking over my shoulder every minute of the day (again) as I used to in my days of carrying on! I don't ever want to return to that "pit of fear" again, and One Day At A Time, if I keep doing what I've been taught then there's no reason to either!

Not having to worry about whether there's a cop on my a$$ just waiting to pull me over and administor the inevitable breathalizer which I was no doubt going to fail! Notwithstanding the complete disregard for the "potentially" innocent victims whom I may have injured or even killed because of MY total lack of responsibility and utter selfishness!

There's not a single day that goes by that I don't think of what could have happened "prolinesucks"! And there ... "But For The Grace Of God" go I (no I am not a bible thumper, but I am extremely spiritual! My belief that religions for people that want to go to heaven .... while spirituality is for people who have already been to hell! Been there, done that, have the physical/emotional battle scars to prove it, and I don't want to go back!)

Enough about me, I just pray (yes I do) that Peters alright! I don't wish harm to anyone, not even those who have screwed people out of large quantities of money! To do so would place any of us at his level, is that what any of us want? ... I suspect not!

I agree with you Tony. However, this is NOW not BEFORE. Peter is obviously in another head space, or he would be doing the right thing. Like I said I know Peter and people who have known Peter for 30 years. Many people can go throughout life looking over their shoulder, and it really has NO EFFECT on them, especially if they are now comfortable in another situation. Like I said, I to pray for Peter, his family etc.

C'mon 'Dog with everything that we've shared and observed throughout the years .... and you "feel wierd"!

Feeling "wierd" just happened to be the time when you and I were bantering outside Streetsvilles Vic Johnston arena a few years back when "WE" were accosted by Frank the Carnival, Vic The Poison Dwarf Crushed-holo and Franks brother Luis! I didn't even know what you or I had done wrong, but I had the feeling as though the mob was about to take us out!

If I remember correctly 'Dog, it was something that YOU (ahhh deflection feels sooooo good, doesn't it Chris? teehee) had posted on the forum about the "Carnival In Town"  and I suppose I was "guilty by association" (hear that Chris? lol), I figured that they were going to knee cap me and rag doll you around the parking lot!

Now "THAT" my friend was "wierd"!

"... when "WE" were accosted by Frank the Carnival, Vic The Poison Dwarf Crushed-holo and Franks brother Luis! I didn't even know what you or I had done wrong, but I had the feeling as though the mob was about to take us out!"

That was fun, back in the day.
Frank and the Oakville Blades up 2-0 in the series against the powerhouse '04 Aurora Tigers and FC and his staff were out front of the arena waiting for me.
Aurora won the next four games enroute to the RBC Championship.

"... it was something that YOU ... had posted on the forum about the "Carnival In Town" and I suppose I was "guilty by association" (hear that Chris? lol), I figured that they were going to knee cap me and rag doll you around the parking lot!"

Yes I took a couple of verbal shots at Frankie and he went to pieces.
Later in the series at a game in Aurora, the whole Oakville team(the players) had words with me. That was great. lol
They were so distracted because of what I posted. Damn, what were they thinking ? They could have won the series, but they choose to focus on me.

Hey that conjures up a fantastic idea (I'll be your agent okay, at only a 30% cut), "Who needs a Wexdog ? ..... Get your Playoff Wexdawgie here!"

I can see it now, for the low, low Canadian Tire price of just $10,000 per playoff game ($5,000 for regular season), plus food, gas and hotel allowance, the 'Dog will travel with your team and into the arena of the opposing team where he will chirp the opposing players bench, taunt their goaltender, fill their water bottles with a "MILD" laxative (don't want to be too cruel) and just be a general disturbance to the opposing coaching staffs by chellenging them to meet him in the parking lot just minutes before a gam!

I think that we're on to something here Wexdog! What an amazing plan huh?

The crux of the thread

No score for this post
November 8 2008, 2:13 PM

What seemed to me, a reasonable request for Peter Mavroudis to turn himself in, has gone in a different direction for what was intended in this thread.

It seems that Thayward has genuine concern for Mavroudis's well being. That is good enough for me.

I hope that Peter sees his impassioned plea and exercises good judgement in considering it.
