May we always remember those young heros that have given their lives for the freedom of others in countries around the world, their families have lost sons and daughters to as we know it as "The Call of Duty" let us all be proud of our men and women serving to protect not only our freedom but others every day.

As we stand side by side on a bridge in rain and snow and watch with our flags waving high to the sky,our brave men and women that gave so much to their duty of honour for freedom to all!

There is a place with God, that will be special for all of our heros to be for what they have done for us all and others.

God, Bless them and keep them in your heaven above.

Always Remember never forget!

Nov. 11, that's why we are all able to do what we are doing today.

I hope we NEVER forget that.

I am allowed to say whatever I please on this forum.

I can say that the Central Division was founded on bribery and corruption, as I did all summer.

I can say that any team sucks and could be beaten by a novice house league team.

I can even say that Wexdog (or anybody else for that matter; not picking specifically on you, buddy!) is a really big @$$hole.

And WHY can I say all of these things?

Because hundreds of thousands have traded their own lives for my right to do that. It is the ultimate in unselfish acts.

Last night, the Fury had the Colour Guard from the Whitby Legion at the game for a Remembrance Day ceremony. I thanked as many of them personally as I could for everything.

I would hope that everybody who has the opportunity to do the same will do so.

Sharpie, you do have the freedom to say anything you want that is your rite in this country of ours,we as you have been given that rite by the brave soles then and now to have this, other countries do not have this rite, but due to the fact that our brothers and sisters are over in war torn regions in danger for not but ours, but their own and families of theirs "we must" pray for their safety every day and night and give them all the support they truly deserve day in day out!

God Bless them all and return them all home to us unharmed.

My son lives in Calgary but was in Edmonton doing some training a while back. While out on a walk one night, he happened upon a convoy of firetrucks/police cars/emergency vehicles lining the highway. His curiosity got the better of him and he stopped and asked what they were doing. They were there, lining the highway, to welcome the Princess Patricia light infantry on their return to Edmonton from Afghanistan. I can't imagine what it must have been like to actually be there and witness a city welcoming home their sons and daughters. Of course, it is often bittersweet as not all returned.

His description of it, over the phone, gave me goose bumps and a new appreciation of the sacrifices, made by the few, for us all.
