I see our leaque in Quebec are so far different than in your Central Division OHA,we in ours have 98% 15&16 year olds no higher than this, but your leaque has many players so much older and as by your "trades" are getting a mature old Jr. players wanting to go to your team Hamilton and others, do not understand your leaques development and education system in this division to make young players understand and play to develope their skills at their own age, this to us here would be nothing more than to try to be a Champion team and disreguard improving young talent in Jr. hockey.
If i was to join a team knowing it was a development leaque, and there were only 15 & 16 year old players and getting a education at the same time, i would not hasitate, but what i here and understand with your leaque, it is more than just that kind of leaque,it is to win without the development of such players, they all cant get to learn just be ponds in a leaque ruled by money and to become champions in a short term without building on youth and coaching to acheive education of the game hockey, its not at this stage you want it all,its for these young players learning the game by great coaching and schooling to make them all succesfull for the future!

We call that Midget hockey in Ontario.
Okay I think this guy is a whacked out "attackfan" probably experiencing his 15th personality.
Quebec has had a rule in place for years, even prior to the CDM. It was required that before a player could play their equivalent of Tier II Junior, a player had to play at least 2 years of Midget hockey (Minor Midget in Ontario would be the 1st year & then your 1st year of Midget). You will only see a few 17 year olds on each Quebec Junior team, the vast majority are 18 & older.

You seem kind of confused in your age groups so let me clarify some stuff. In Quebec, the 16 years old have to play in Qmjhl or midget AAA and are not allow to play in the LHJAAAQ. However that doesn't include the 16 years old with late birthdays. The majority of the players in the LHJAAAQ (junior A) are 18 years old or older because most of the team don't care about development since no players from that league get schoolarships or are going in th Q because they are too old from Q teams to develop.
