The Peterborough Stars cemented their hold on third in the Ruddock Division with a 4-2 win over the visiting Trenton Hercs. The visitors held a 2-0 lead early in the second but that would be all their scoring as the Stars took over from there. Ryan Herlihey upped his season goal output to an even dozen in scoring twice for the Stars. He was a major factor in the game as he also assisted on markers by Mike Ryan and Jordan Forfar, the game winner, in their three goal second period. Dylan Goddard and Jason Shaw, with his first of the campaign, scored for Trenton who seem to be stuck in seventh spot.
