Ken Burrows
Why ?
I thought that the owners got rid of him a year ago.
Or is it the fact that the owners kids are done or have moved on.

Excellent point. I've never met a parent-owner who wants a coaching staff or GM around who actually knows what they are doing when their kid(s) arrive.

look at their record and their attendance. its quite obvious to me that laren must finally realize that he isnt a hockey guy and needs some experience back to run the team.
OR he realizes that his own kid is not going to progress or get noticed when your team stinks!!!

When it comes to hockey, I don't think Laren would notice anything.

If players know the way he operates, NOBODY of any significance would go there.

====================================

Since D'Ammizio left,

Joslin acknowledged there will be added pressure on him to help stop the bleeding.

His first priority is to bolster the lineup, especially by adding some seasoned forwards.

"We definitely need to make a couple of moves that will help us. Wed like to get some experience up front to give us some added depth. Its a work in progress," he said. "I will work 24/7 to get that done."

======================================

So how have they bolstered their forwards?

11/18/08 DEL Viola, Matt (F) traded to different league Grand Prairie, AJHL
10/18/08 DEL Beal, Chad (F) traded to Orangeville

Added, Jake Dellavalle a 20 year old, with 4 points in 10 games & Brandon Walker another 20 year olds with 3 points in 5 games.

Oh, they are dressing Brett Joslin a lot more too.

Maybe, just maybe they need someone with more of a GM background to try to convince players to come. I wouldn't buy it though.

I also noticed Lamacchia's point production has drastically dwindled since Uncle Dave left.

15 pts in 14 games with D'Ammizio
2 pts in 14 games without D'Ammizio

attendance I see is not good from above comments, do they not do anything in the community ? Is that not the back bone of any team that needs attendance ? With all the changes in the last few years my guess would be that they do not.
