Former Hamilton Kilty B's captain Josh Soares returned to Hamilton tonight with the AHL's Peoria Rivermen. Josh made his family nd many friends proud as he scored what turned out to be the winning goal in the Peoria Rivermens 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs. Josh also was choosen the 1st star of the game. Keep up the good work Josh. We are proud of you!

Yes it was wonderful to see him, and for him to play so well - fully deserving first star - it was a 60 minute performance - regular shifts including power play. And his goal, top shelf from the 'dot'.

Bulldogs Glumac came from Peoria - wouldn't it be wonderful if he was to be followed by Josh? And given my assessment that a good number of those in attendence were folks with KiltyB backgrounds there to see Josh, he might make a contribution to pushing up crowds. Something needs to happen because attending bulldogs games is getting more like hard work each game.

Sadly CHML reporting the result of the game failed to even mention the goalscorers or the significance of the winning goalscorer. Real poor show on their part.
