No mercy on the Fury. Kingston pounds Whitby 11-2 to go four points up in the Ruddock. Jarrett Burton, Adam McAllister and Steve Evans led the carnage with two per person. Mike Farrell had a goal and four points.
Not the result the Cougars were looking for in their interlocking contest in Ajax, a large 7-1 win for the Attack. Bobby Gertsakis and Greg Waller led the home side to the surprisingly lopsided victory each scoring twice. Five minutes into the third Daniel Koudys beat David Jenkins for Burlington's only reply.
North York scored four unanswered goals to break a 2-2 tie and cruise to a 6-2 win at home. The Rangers powerplay was clicking going 3 for 5 on the match. Only 67 people watched. Eric Desjardins, good hockey name, had the game winner for the Rangers.
It will be now very difficult for the Terriers to be caught in the Phillips after a 5-2 win in Huntsville. Mackenzie Micks got them rolling with their first two goals which puts him up to 20 on the season. The second period was the big one for Couchiching as they tallied three without any reply from the Otters. Josh Cousineau had his 21st. Well done Terriers, the nine point lead looks good at the moment.
