It was a good omen for the Attack when defenceman Brandon Deans scored his first goal of the season inside three minutes and his team went on to defeat the Predators 7-4. Jonny Simone had two for the winners. He and Chris Stuart scored six seconds apart in the third period.
Brad Gehl scored a couple and had a four-point afternoon as the Stars had an easy 7-1 triumph over the Panthers in Peterborough. It was a 1-1 tie at the end of one period but it was all Stars after that. Jared Coreau stopped 24 of 25 Pickering shots for the win.

Kyle McLaughlin led the attack for the Tigers scoring twice as they downed Upper Canada easily 6-2. David Morley and Domenic Monardo each registered a goal and three points.
A bit of an upset..Chris Muise scored the only goal of the game in the second period as the Capitals surprised the Crushers in Orangeville. Thomas Shelly stopped all 35 Orangeville shots while Andy Groulx turned back 23 Brampton shots on net.
The Junior Canadiens had their way with the visiting Buzzers 7-1. David Stevens was the only Toronto player to get one past callup goalie Frank Gallo. Cody Smith had two goals and four points in the win and Kelly Jackson a goal and three points.
Clash of the Titans in Georgetown where the Raiders came out on top of the Blades 3-1. The teams were tied 1-1 after two when Chris Borges' eighth of the season in the middle of the third was the game winner.
Full marks to the Bruins..It took a shootout but the Otters got the win in Seguin 2-1. Jon Whitelaw and traded goals two minutes apart in the second frame. Whitelaw and Jesse McConney were the only shootout scorers. The Bears' goalie Chance Lieb stopped 40 shots while Ryan Williams of Huntsville turned back thirty shots.
There was also a shootout in Dixie where the home club prevailed 4-3. Stefan Thompson's third period tally forced the extra time where Dixie won three goals to two.
Jason Guy had the shutout as the Hurricanes stopped the Spirit 4-0. Glen McCarron and Joel Hanley each scored a goal and had an assist.
Bramalea put up a good fight but went down 5-4 to the Vipers. Doug Clarkson had a pair for Vaughan who never trailed in the contest.
Mississauga over Streetsville in yet another shootout by 4-3 with Adam Bevilacqua getting the deciding marker. Goals 13 seconds apart by Tyler Campbell and Dan Grespan late in the third cancelled out a 3-1 Derbys lead.
