POWER RANKINGS

Previous weeks rankings in brackets

1) Couchiching (2)- takes top spot away from Georgetown after another perfect week. Extends their win streak to 10 games

2) Georgetown (1)- a loss to Orangeville stopped their impressive 14 game winning streak. They were able to rebound against division rival Oakville and is looking to put some distance between themselves and the Blades

3) Oakville (3)- by losing three straight to the Raiders, a division title seems to be slipping away

4) Hamilton (5)- very consistent, powerful offence. Just got by the Cougars. Need to continue to win to fend off the Dukes for the division title

5) Kingston (7)- after beating Bowmanville, Kingston has a good taste in their mouths come Christmas. They have a chance to go on a long streak after the break, and the schedule helps their cause.

6) Huntsville (4)- were caught off the track this week in a loss to Collingwood. They defeated the Bruins of Seguin but it took a shootout. They are falling further and further away from the Terriers in the Phillips

7) Wellington (6)- by losing to Newmarket, the Dukes failed to make ground and once again blew a game in hand. They will be in tough to win the central with the powerful wings involved.

8) Aurora (9)- defeating Collingwood and Upper Canada is expected, though they lacked the exclamation point that the Tigers needed. A rematch with Georgetown looms.

9) Lindsay (8)- they killed their win against Peterborough with a loss to Bowmanville. In a tight battle for supremacy in the Ruddock, the Muskies need to win the close ones

10) Peterborough (10)- though the they lost to Lindsay, the stars can redeem themselves on January 3rd in a crucial rematch with the fish

11) Vaughan (11)- swept a home and home with the Blues. They are only 3-8 against the top teams in the Mackinnon. As each day passes, a playoff series with Buffalo seems more and more realistic

12) Newmarket (13)- improved goaltending a better play of late has the Hurricanes on a high as they head into the Christmas break. Key date: December 28, Hamilton vs Newmarket.

13) Markham (12)- defeated stouffville before the break. Key date: December 29, Hamilton vs Markham

14) Orangeville (15)- beat Georgetown moves any team up in the weekly rankings. They played very well on Wednesday night in Georgetown, yet they sh*t the bed against Brampton. Inconsistencies are crushing the Crushers

15) Toronto (NR)- defeated St. Mikes 7-1 gets Toronto back into the rankings. Paul Rodrigues is phenomenal for the Canadiens as his 71 points places him third in the league in scoring.

Dropped from rankings: St. Mikes

Cheers!

Check the date, barnesdale.

Kusa's post was a Christmas gift posted on Dec. 25. The Burlington-Georgetown games were both between Christmas and New Year's.

I suspect your observations should put Cougars into the top 15. After all,

Kusa says that beating Georgetown helped put Orangeville in.

Happy New Year's to you barnesdale, Kusa and all you other OPJHL fans.
