This would have been done this morning, but I kept getting interupted.

1. Georgetown - Have defeated Aurora and Huntsville in the last couple of days and have handled Oakville all season long. Definitely the top team in the league.

2. Couchiching - Have not done so well coming out of the break. They are 2-2 and one of those wins was by forfeit. Emotions can get the better of you, especially at this time in the season, but can be used to help a team also.

3. Huntsville - Five wins in January, then they ran into the Raiders just after a tough game against the Terriers. The Dec 19 storm did not help the Otters at all. If the game had been played when scheduled, Huntsville may have won.

4. Oakville - This is one of the tougher team to evaluate. 3-1 against Burlington and 0-3 vs Georgetown. They are definitely better then the teams below them in the MacKinnon, but how would they do against the other division leaders ?

5. Kingston - First game back they dropped to Whitby and they took it out on Trenton. They have won four in a row, beating the Preds twice and Villanova once in addition to the Hercs. The Vees host Lindsay on Sunday and if they win, especially in regulation, they race for first is over.

6. Aurora - The "We lost our coach" excuse will cut it for a while, eventually the team has to decide if they are a contender or just a 'take whatever we can get' type of team. The Tigers are 1-2 against both the Terriers and Otters with one game remaining against each team. They still have control of their standing, but not for long unless they can knock off the top teams.

7. Wellington - They are the best team in the Central right now. A slight question in goal has to be answered. I wonder if the hectic schedule to end the season will hurt them come playoffs.

8. Markham - They turn it on and in no time are in first, but they are just shy of being the better team of the division.

9. Burlington - They are a very good team, but cannot compete with the top two in the Mac. Beating Georgetown in Dec is one thing, winning in the playoffs is something else. Hare may be a good goalie, but the Cougars do not have the horses up front.

10. Hamilton - How the mighty have fallen. It was quite the slide. Is it over or was Toronto just a bump on the down slide ? The Wings may have lost more then their leadings scorer when McQuade left.

Great job 'Dog! I'm getting just a little apprehensive and concerned however that my beloved Raiders "MAY" have peaked too soon! we'll find out over the next few weeks won't we?
