Central Division Hockey  (Login CDHockey)

It is just two more sleeps until the best of the Central Junior A Hockey League (CJHL) and the OHA Central Division square off in the inaugural "Battle of Ontario" taking place in Pembroke, ON

Two games will be played on Saturday January 17th:

2:00 PM: Prospects Game featuring the best 1992 and 1991 players from the Central Division and the CJHL
7:00 PM: All-Stars Game featuring the best 1988, 1989 and 1990 born players fromt he Central Division and CJHL. Each team is limited to five 1988 born players.

Both games will be broadcast live in Pembroke on Cogeco Television, but the local station does not have a link to their master control so it will not be available live in other markets. Taped delayed broadcasts may happen in other Cogeco territories and we will publicise where and when as soon as the schedule is available. RogersTV will air highlights on their weekly Junior A This Week show as well highlights, interviews and photographs will be able by Monday morning on www.centraldivisionhockey.com. Facility contraints prevent us from running a webcast on B2TV from this location.

Tickets for both games are available by calling the City of Pembroke at 613-732-6821 ext 1501 or at the gate prior to game time. Single game tickets are $10 and two game ticket packages are only $15.

You can read more about the CJHL at: http://www.cjhl.on.ca
Real-time scoring for the games can be found at: http://centrajuniora.stats.pointstreak.com/scoreboard.html?leagueid=349&seasonid=3676

Great job by Central Division players: Amestoy 2 assists and MVP, Wise 1 goal+ 1 assist, Garrick 1 assist, Lamacchia 2 assists, Chiste 1 goal and Mceachen 1 goal. Also heard lots of scouts in attendance.

4-2 CJHL All-Stars

It was 3-2 right up 'til the end when the CJHL put in an empty netter.
