I think it's about time that the bleeding heart, do gooding, tree huggers spent a little more time outside! I sure as hell hope that their cars don't freakin' well start this morning! (teehee)

Global warming is more about the fluctuations in temperatures and not how cold it gets. I would not be surprised to see temperatures rise significantly in the next couple of days in many places to above the freezing mark.
Just checked the weather network and it seems that a lot of major cities in Canada will be at, near or above zero by the end of the next week. Halifax will get to 3 degrees by Mondy, which should be a fun day for me.

You think this is cold?
Why when I was a youngster it was minus 40 every day in winter and we had to walk to school in blinding snowstorms 5 miles each way up hill! When we got to school we had to haul wood in from the back shed to start the wood stove. When we got home we had to walk another five miles to the outdoor rink, shovel the snow off and then get to play. That was after we carved our own sticks.............

I think it's a little late for Chinook, Matty. But I could be wrong. The mountains tend to affect the weather, there, and Calgary is near the south of Alberta, which is essentially, the desert.
Although, as with most places in our glorious country, if you don't like the weather, wait a couple hours haha
I remember in Quebec, when it would be a massive blizzard and -10 outside, then +5 the next day, then -5 and sleet the day after that, then a freezing rain storm, some more snow (just the powdery kind to hide the ice underneath), a giant thaw, three more blizzards and one random nice day halfway through march and all the pubs and restos open their patios and the crazy quebeckers would sit outside in their parkas drinking beers with their mittens on haha
I would also like to add, this is my first Toronto winter since 2002, and there are record-breaking low temparatures? I moved back to the sun-belt to get awayyy from winter. (Although I have no idea how cold it actually is, because I haven't left my house for three days haha)

Nice to see that this warming trend is continuing! teehee!
Last couple of years warming kind of pi$$es in the cornflakes of the tree huggers doesn't it? lol
If we parasites on a flies a$$ are so significant as to alter weather patterns, would someone care to explain how the ice that WAS once a mile thick in this area, scoaring out the Great Lakes and the Niagara Escarpment just magically disappeared wiping out the dinosaurs (except those in the OHA office of course, teehee) in the process?
Perhaps it was the methane eminating out the backsides of Dino huh? lol

wex why stop in ottawa and toronto lets check montreal edmonton calgary and vancouver. hell can freeze over anytime and let at least a canadian team win the cup. watching calgary then edmonton then ottawa lose in the final sucked.
but lets start hell freezing in toronto and then let it spread to the rest!

Can i start entertaining with my NHL conspiracy theories about how its better for the league if a Canadian team makes the final, but doesn't win?
Think about it, the whole country just jumps on the bandwagon and cheers for the "Canadian" team... oh. wait. When Ottawa was playing Anaheim, the Ducks actually had more canadian players than Ottawa did, and I think actually had something ridiculous like 20 Canadian players? (I cheered for them. CP, Getzy, Penner, and of course, my hometown boy, Brad May)
And I laughed when the crew of TSN went into a sports bar in Anaheim to ask people who was playing in the Stanley Cup final, and someone said "Umm i don't know. The toronto maple leafs?" BAHAHA.
I hope the leafs finish dead last JT <3
