I think most people know who you mean by PM as he has been mentioned many times in the past on this forum.

Personal

I for one do not think that people should be even talking on this forum about someones personal life, if this man has done wrong then the court looked after it, but is NOT our business to discuss it.

Hayward please try to put an end to this topic as it has nothing to do with sports but only to degrade this person!

I disagree. This man was in a position of power in Jr. A Hockey, and a lot of people put their trust in him at that time. Same as David Frost, this is fair game for discussion as far as I am concerned. It is public knowledge, it's not like we are leaking information that hasn't been out there in the mass media.

Not to mention many people on the site know the man or have worked with him in some way in the past. They might want to be informed about what is going on with his situation.

Bobcat,

He bilked parents of OP players. It happened right in Georgetown to a Raider family. In that context do you not think the community has a right to know? He is after all is said and done both a repeat offender and "guilty". The presumption of innocence is long gone on this one. Why does he deserve any protection and do you honestly think he cares what people think?

Sorry bobcat44 but I won't, nor should any of us simply sweep this under the rug and wish for it to go away! The 1950's are gone forever, thank goodness and TODAY we have the resources to keep ourselves informed as to whom is doing what out there!

In fact bobcat44, had the courts been a the least bit interested in reducing such crimes, then they should make an example of repeat offenders! Whether you like it or not bobcat44 the days of street/white collar crime, as well as spousal/child abuse is rapidly coming to an end with the availability of street/mall cameras, cell phones and internet communication!

It was the internet information that led to Peter Mavroudis' arrest and conviction. Every time someone makes a statement like ... "I for one do not think that people should be even talking on this forum about someones personal life" ... what we are saying is protect the criminals and screw the victims! Do you understand that bobcat44?

While indeed .... "the court looked after it" ... it most certainly is .... "our business to discuss it"! Why should we be held hostage by those who clearly have no interest in abiding by the laws of this great land?

To hell with that idea! Scream it from the hilltops! I personally had NO hope, NO future until I took ownership of my battle with alcoholism back in 1997! No one co-signed my bullsh#t back then and there's NO reason why we should endorse the antics of a repeat offender TODAY!

Until "WE" acknowledge "OUR" own shortcomings, then "WE" have very little hope to be re-integrated into society! I get really tired of people who are focused on protecting "convicted" criminals, but aren't prepared to offer their unsuspecting victims the same considerations!

Those days of denial, passing the buck are DONE for me bobcat44, as such so is my endorsement of inappropriate and archaic behavior of those who impose their criminal will against us! Get it?
