Last season the 100 point level was not reached by any player- Paul Rodrigues, with Vaughan and Bruce Crawford, with Mississauga, came closest with 98 points. In 2006-2007 regular season Scott Freeman of the Eagles had 97 points and only played 43 games. In 2005-2006 Mark Prentice of Port Hope had exactly 100 points playing in all 49 games. This season with the Central playing 53 games it would seem to be probable that a player from that Division would reach the 100 point plateau.
Nathan Pageau of the Red Wings is sitting on 90 with five games remaining so it will need two points a game- easily doable for the speedy number fourteen. Is anyone else in with a realistic chance? Not really I don' t think ..Dorian Peca of the Vipers has five games left to accumulate 17 points. From the same team Doug Clarkson needs 18...and don't forget these two only play a 49 game schedule. From the Central Buzzers' captain and mainstay Greg Miller and the aforementioned Rodrigues, now with Toronto, each have 81 and have six and four games respectively left. That would all but rule out Rodrigues and Miller would have to put on quite a spurt but it is possible.
One player who surely would have made it to 100 is Josh McQuade now a member of the Olympiques in the "Q". Josh had 80 points in 38 games for Hamilton. Also well up there on a point per game basis is Brandon Pirri of the Raiders 78 in 38 not including any points he got in a recent 8-2 win over the Chargers.
