In the MacKinnon the Raiders look to have the edge with three games left but their two road games are not easy as they are in Brampton and Vaughan. The Blades, a point behind with two left have two very winnable home tilts against Milton and Mississauga. Third is not totally decided but the Cougars should get at least two points..at home to Streetsville and then they have a tough one in Buffalo. The Vipers have their work cut out for them and will probably remain in fourth. They go to Milton and Brampton before hosting the Raiders. Much has been written about the 'battle' for the last playoff spot. A Charger win in their only remaining home contest..against Bowmanville..might just be enough to get them into the last spot. The Derbys and Blues meet one more time, the winner might be the lucky..or unlucky..one.
Orangeville and North York are battling for fourth place and home ice advantage in the Phillips. Give the edge to the Crushers as they face Dixie at home and go to Seguin and Villanova.
In the Ruddock Kingston and Peterborough are in a fight for first. A rescheduled game tonight against UCC should put them four up with one more played. Big opportunity tomorrow night as the Vees host the Stars and can put it away with a win. Ajax can edge out the Eagles for fourth- they get two default points but have to go to Whitby and Port Hope. The Fury can still overtake Pickering for seventh.
Not too much is for certain in the Central. The Dukes have six left to overhaul the Waxers. The two clubs meet twice- Sunday in Wellington and next Thursday in Markham. Toronto and Hamilton vie for third with the Wings going to Cobourg and hosting the Buzzers. The Junior Canadiens go to St. Mike's and host Wellington and Newmarket. The Hurricanes can get fourth if they win all three left and Hamilton loses both.
