Andrew Hare stopped 21 Derbys shots and the Cougars scored five times at the Wave. Phil Brewer had a goal and two assists as Burlington have third in the MacKinnon all sewn up.
Bramalea made a strong bid for the final playoff spot in that same Division beating the Sabres 4-3 in overtime. Frank Zuccaro had two goals in regulation, including the one that tied the game at three, for the winners.
The Tigers keep getting stronger and tonight they turned back the visiting Rangers 7-4, although they trailed 4-2 in the later stages of period two. Jeff Vanderlugt and Kyle Paige each scored two and added two assists for Aurora. Lucas Van Natter tallied three assists. Domenic Monardo scored number 38 for the Tigers while Michael Sardella connected with number thirty.
Milton doomed the Vipers to a fourth place finish in the MacKinnon with a 4-2 home ice victory. Justin Basso led the Icehawks with a goal and two helpers.
No contest in the Joshua Creek arena as the Blades thrashed the Chargers 8-1. Tyler Leimbrock, Ryan Murphy and Kyle Badham registered two each for Oakville. Luke Moodie had a goal and four assists. Matt Hache saved just nineteen.
A shutout in Couchiching as the Terriers got past Peterborough in an inter-Divisional contest 4-0. For Dalton McGrath who saved 22 it was the fourth clean sheet of the season. Couchiching's top three scorers were held goalless tonight but all it took was an early goal by blueliner John McCullough.

Closer than most thought but a win nonetheless for the Muskoka Otters 5-4 over the Bruins. A shorthanded marker by Tristan Zeggil would turn out to be the game winner. Rob Waddell had two for Huntsville and Corey George assisted on three. Seguin made it close by scoring three times in the final period.
An upset in Pickering where the upstart Panthers knocked off the first place Voyageurs 5-2. Connor Ste. Marie came through with two goals for Pickering while leading points scorer Greg Riggs had four assists. The local young man now has 19 goals and 53 points for the season.
The Muskies doubled the visiting Predators 6-3. Three goals by Kevin George, one shorthanded and two on the powerplay, powered them to a 5-0 lead early in the second. The Uxbridge native is having a breakthrough season and now has 35 goals.
Orangeville shaded the BeeHives 3-2 at home coming back from a 2-0 deficit. The clincher came from Dylan Hutton lucky number thirteen for him. The Crushers now have fourth spot in the Phillips.
The Waxers emphatically whipped the Cougars of Cobourg 7-0 and in doing so have a four point bulge on the Dukes atop the Central. Bryan Potts continues to know where the net his scoring twice to bring his total to forty five. Shutout number two fro Chris Azzano and he had to stop eleven in each period. Kevin Hudes also had a pair for the Markham and Shane Ferguson got four assists.
Looks like the J.C's are home and cooled out against the Buzzers ahead 7-1 after two. Paul Rodrigues, Paul Chiasson and Tim Halloran already have two each.
The northern Blues lead UCC 3-2 after two periods in Collingwood where leader Andrew Ciampichini has one goal.

Update in Collingwood as the Blues took it 4-3. Patrick Martin's shorthanded third period goal was the winner over the stubborn Collegians. A bit unusual a shorthanded goal with two in the assists. 550 people there..good gathering.
