Wow Ron, you're predicting a home ice win for Milton! I don't see that happening. With the playoff experience of Johnny Mac and Kev have, they no doubt want to get the hell out of these early round matchups as quickly as possible!
This years Milton team is a deflated squad, nowhere comparable to the consistently contending teams of yesteryear! I figure that they're going to get bounced in three straight, maybe four at the most, and tonights game although close, may be decided by an empty net goal to seal the deal tonight, putting the IceHawks down two games to none!

I wouldnt be suprised if Milton pulls out one or two wins here, they looked tough down the stretch and I believe they had a pretty good tilt in the first game.

Vaughan came back to tie the series in Buffalo with a 4-3 victory. Matt Viola's goal was music to the Viper fans as he scored the winner late in the third. David Clarkson had a pair for the winners. Nick Panepinto put the Sabres ahead briefly 3-2 in the second period but Clarkson's second tied it at threes setting up Viola's winner.

The Stars tied up their series in Whitby beating the Fury 4-1. Zach Fryia stopped 29 shots while Pier-Olivier Cotnoir led Peterborough with a brace. Kristofer Faric's shorthanded goal was the only shot to elude Fryia.
The Rangers are alive in their series with the Crushers as they registered a big 4-1 road win tonight. North York got three in the second period and Jason Kelly nabbed the winner. The story of this game was Rangers' goalie Lane Floro who stopped an incredible sixty six shots. The visitors scored their four on just twenty five shots on goal.

Lots of goals in Milton where the Cougars seemed to be cruising to an emphatic victory as they enjoyed a 5-0 lead very early in the second but the Icehawks mounted a large recovery but Burlington ended up on the right side of an 8-6 advantage. Adam Bevilacqua, Lukas Ciotti and Greg Carey, both on the powerplay, all scored twice for the visitors. Ricky Buehler had the hat trick for Milton while Justin Basso counted two, both while his club was playing shorthanded. A physical game with over 100 penalty minutes.

Into overtime in the beautiful town of Collingwood where the Blues are not afraid of Tigers and the score is tied at five each. Mike Bodley tallied three, a natural hat trick, in regulation for Aurora and Ryan Johnson had a pair for the home side. A goal by Paul Stewart for the Blues in the middle of the third sent the contest into extra time.
