The best of fives are mostly concluded and who might one think would be on top in playoff point scoring..a Blade, a Raider, a Terrier, a Vee, an Otter perchance? Nary one of those but a young man from Didsbury, a small town of just over four thousand inhabitants, a farming community near Calgary and Red Deer. Mike Arnold was second in point scoring for the Orangeville Crushers in the regular season. He had a team-leading 29 goals and 48 overall points. Now you are probably saying that not everyone from Didsbury wears overalls..but joking apart..Mike, who recently turned twenty, had eleven points including seven goals in Orangeville's four game series against the North York Rangers including hat tricks in the third and fourth games. He also managed to pick up an assist in the club's only loss 4-1 in game two. Well done Mike.
Teammate Jarrod Connolly did not do too shabbily either and sits in fourth spot. The native of Chateauguay, Quebec had four points in game three and eight in total for the series.
Lookout though, the big boys are right behind Mike as Mackenzie Micks and Matt Smyth of the Terriers are tied in second spot with nine points after their three game series against the Bruins.

Both Smith and Axell have ten points in the playoffs so far. Smith, a Mimico native, is in his first full season with St. Mike's and garnered 75 points in regular games. Axell played 42 games this past season with the Buzzers the same as in 2007/8 but increased his points total from 22 to 50. All ten of the 6'4"forward's points in this season's playoffs are assists.
