My prediction for tonight's game is Pickering coming out on top 6-4. I expect it to be a hard fought game by both teams with a lot of intensity, aggression, and hitting. Both teams know that this game is crucial for either to carry on so it should be a good one.
Any other predictions?

Pickering's surprise win in game 3 was a credit to their tenacity but the series will end tonight with a Kingston 5-2 victory. Look for the Vees to come out strong and stay out of the penalty box.
(interesting signature CFMPO "If you want peace, prepare for war. " I know the origins of the quote I just don't know why you would choose to use it.)

But this Pickering team is a different team from the one that showed up in Kingston for the first two games of this series.
I really admired how they did not fold up when down a pair of goals going into the third period of game three to come back and win.
It was against a very good Vees' team which was obviously a little rattled that all did not go according to plan.
I will be there.
The atmosphere at the Recreation Complex went from zero atmosphere to playoff atmosphere in game three. The air horn and the lively Pickering crowd was all in fun playoff tradition.
After the game, some Pickering fan said to me, on the way out, to enjoy the ride home back to Kingston.
Imagine that? (He did not know I was heading to Burlington after the game to stay at my daughter's place.)
Guess he thought I was cheering for Kingston and wanted to leave me with a message of goodwill.

I agree that the atmosphere, the crowd, the game, everything in Pickering exemplified a playoff game. Pickering did not quit even though being down 2 goals.
I'm assuming the fan said that, not knowing who you cheered for or where you were going, because of the Kingston fans saying it to the Pickering players and fans the last two games in Kingston.

I think the Vees will try to stay disciplined but the Panthers will get under their skin, which in turn will cause the Vees to get frustrated and take pernalties. Nonetheless it will be a hard fought game right down to the final buzzer

Nothing brings out a team's character more than when their backs are against the wall. I expect Pickering to be fighting for their lives this evening and I'm sure the Kingston coaching staff will prepare their team for that type of hockey.

Both goaltenders made outstanding saves throughout the game to keep their teams in the game. Their was non-stop contact and puck movement all game long.
Pickering's forwards moved the puck well and toko great shots that dinged the posts all night. They could not great a break. Their hard work and team play came through when they popped two in to make it a 3-2 game. The forwards for both teams gave it their all knowing this game was do or die. Spectators saw great puck movement, communication, stick handling and shooting.
The Pickering defence was spectacular at boxing out in front of their net. They moved the puck well during the game and were able to keep the puck in Kingston's zone all night. The defence was at its best the last minute of the game, they were able to keep the puck in the zone despite Kingston's many clearing attempts which resulted in perfect shots on net.
It came down to the wire in this game. The last minute saw pucks trickle past the net, pucks hitting crossbars, and pucks sitting on the goal line. The Kingston goalie made crucial saves to hold off Pickering.
By far the best game of the series. Great intensity and tempo. It was great to see Pickering claw their way back. It was an interesting year for Pickering, they showed their tenacity and dedication, which added to this organization's fine reputation.
It was an honor to be a part of this team for almost 2 years. I wish all the best to the players, staff, and this organization.

Wayjoy as you qouted last week on the Cage......Bowmanville will win the series over Ajax 3-1 believe me!
Kingston will have their hands full against the Attack, and the Ajax fans are growing quickly, this will and i qoute will go 7 games... the Attack are playing very very well and the goaltending outstanding, nice time to start peaking into the second round!!
Its going to be doozy of a series.

It will be a good series but I can't see it going seven games, maybe 5 or 6 at the most with Kingston coming away with the series.
I really like it when the playoffs bring out the best in teams as they did with Pickering. Congratulations Panthers on a super effort.

I can hardly wait to meet Bobcat .
Be sure and stop by and introduce yourself when you are in Kingston.
I was wrong on the Ajax/Bowmanville series. Sorry Cash .
You can bet that the Vees will not take the Attack lightly. It will be a tough and hard-fought series.
Who needs to Wellington Dukes in the Ruddock for excitement?
I think it was Dukes Fan who said the Central division was the best thing to happen to the OJHL. In more ways than one.
I could not agree more. It has made the Ruddock all the more interesting this year without the powerhouse Dukes blasting through everybody withoiut serious challenge.
I'll have the playoff preview Ajax/Kingston shortly.
Stay tuned.
