Your kidding right? I say we base this on the Don Sanderson cup final game .
Sirman> Jenkins
Kingston has a lot more experience then Ajax. It should be a good series, but there is no way that Ajax can be considered to have the edge in any way shape or form.

I see now, how could anyone disagree with the stats you provided Bobby.
With that kind of reasoning I can see how you came to your conclusions.
Sorry Wayne, but now that I have been set straight I have to reconsider and I now do not believe Kingston will win the series, probably will not win a game and may not even score a goal.
Wayne when you see the stats Bobbo has provided I am sure you will come to the same conclusion I have. I had hopes for Kingston this time. Damn. sigh

The most important stat supplied by Bobcat: Ajax has the top rookie. I never thought that the team with the top rookie had the edge. This must have been the deciding factor. Now I get it. Also agree with Wex, Kingston will not score 1 goal in the whole series.

Sarcasm aside, IF Ajax upsets Kingston, they would have to be considered a pretty solid chance to claim the division, since I would put them pretty much on par with either of the other two teams. And, after riding the high of their first ever series win in Jr. A, Ajax might just have some momentum. But what they need is to win game one, in an overtime thriller if possible, to gain that momentum and confidence. If they blowout Kingston in game one, they will wake the Vees up and get demolished in five. Also, if Kingston wins or worse yet blows out Ajax in the first game, it could be a very long four or five games for the Attack.

After the series you are buying the beers ok Wex all on you, maybe we can bring your double rippskate aswell, i will drink his seeing he will be in outerspace for awhile.

whoever gets on here from ajax and posts this stuff. and most of us know how you are
Attackfan... (related to an equipment person on the team), you are embarrasing.
It is great to be enthusiastic about your team however you make no sense.
Just calm down and let the teams play.

I agree playoffs are playoffs throw everthing in the season out the window its a best of 7 winner take all, or as others say what team wants it the most, it will be a very tough series for both clubs!
Only posted this for stats, but as i see others have their own opinion which everyone can step on my post no problems, i see Ajax going forward to the next round again my opinion only!

How in the world can you come to anyother conclusion other then a four sweep shutout by Ajax over Kingston.
Look closely at the stats. Now can you see how the Ajax offence is so much better ?
If you look deeper you will see ... deeper ... deeper ... deee zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Bluelinecrasher:....i just heard that Jenkins will not start the first game
I hope you are joking here. You know I had this sick feeling in my stomach that this might happen. If they indeed are going to start Stein then Ajax has just thrown this series away. It will be Kingston in 4 maybe 5. Why would Durant,Tugnutt,Gertzakis and company want to throw away the momentum and CHEMISTRY that the Attack have at this point? We all know, all of us, that teams play with confidence with a confident goalie. The 1st week goal....the 2nd weak goal...the 3rd weak goal....and its history. What about the momentum and confidence of David Jenkins? Why not ride the horse all the way to the Mexican border? This would be the stupidest move in Ajax junior hockey.

Are you kidding us all to believe the Attack would make such a move in the fisrt game of round two in Kingston, say it is not so any team has to their best to take game ONE on the road are you really sure on this WOW!

David Jenkins is a better goalie knowing he is going to start, then coming off the bench. Mentally you can get prepared and your pregame flows from that. David is in a no win situation coming in to clean up the mess left behind. What are you going to do? Put him in after its 5-0 in the first 10minutes? Feel sorry for the rest of the players.

Ajax's strength is upfront. The Ajax defence in front of Stein will desintegrate. With Jenkins, the defence is given a lifeline. Ajax does not have a powerful defence core that can make a weak goalie look good.

Was he injured last game against Bowmanville or does he have the flue, cant see management make this move without a very good reason not game #1 in Kingston.

What stats?
The only stats you posted were the goaltending stats, which show that Sirman let up 1 less goal and Jenkins had a higher save percentage. It could also be deduced from your stats that Kingston played better defense in the first round because they gave up 56 less shots on goal in the same amount of games. How do these stats show that Ajax is superior?
I think Wayne might copy this post and put it on the Kingston Bulletin board.

I thought I saw a "puddytat" . I might have seen things but I was sure I saw Jenkins in goal in the third period. Number 30 right? Pointstreak says not.
I think we might see a different Ajax team in Ajax today. If we do not, this one could be over in a hurry.
Everything went in for the Vees who were the superior team in game one. It looked as though Ajax mailed it in after the 7th Kingston goal.
Truth is, the Attack are nowhere near as bad as they showed today and Kingston is nowhere near as good.
On to game two.
Stay tuned.

Wayjoy i could not agree more it was terrible display of hockey by Ajax, got there at the end of the 1st period only to see the scoreboard reading 3-0 Kingston then looked at my wife and said why did we drive here, they better come to play today or chances are gone quickly Jenkins went in with 10 min left it was 9-1 why even put him in just stupid.

When wrong promptly admit it
Looks like now Jenkins started and after the 3rd Kingston Goal he was pulled.
Can't say the same for Stein last game in Kingston.
Apparently Jenkins went in 1/2 way thru the 3rd period but doesn't show on PS.

You're right it's not over until someone wins 4...but this is looking like a comeback would rival the 80 US Olympic team's victory - do you believe in miracles!

I don't think we will see any "Miracles" in this series. It is over. Ajax made a huge mistake with their goaltending decision(s) and they won't be able to recover from it. On top of that is the fact that the Vees are playing very good hockey right now. They are getting scoring from all lines, keeping the PIMs low and are getting excellent goaltending. The only aspect of this series that has yet to be determined is will it go 4 or 5 games.
