A quick look at the playoff point-scoring leaders does not contain a lot of surprises..however tied for eighth spot is a name you might not expect..5 foot 8 inches tall, 18 years old and a native of Scarborough..Kelly Jackson of the Toronto Junior Canadiens. Pause for drum roll..Already in his third season as a J.C. Jackson had registered 15,21 and 35 points in the regular seasons, a nice increase each season but he has had a fast start to this year's playoffs having already generated 12 points in six games for Toronto. Kelly is tied with Skylar Quinn for second place in his teams' scoring, they are three points behind leader Cody Smith. A big contribution like this could take the J.C's a long way in the Central playoffs.

Well done Kelly..keep it going!

Congratulations to Kelly! Nice to see the small, fast guys (my kind of player) making the most of his opportunities at this level!

As an interesting note, Jackson is apparently the grandson of "Peter Puck" creator, Brian McFarlane.
