The Attack played very well

Kingston got a pair of unassisted goals from Adam McAllister and Dustin Walsh 18 seconds apart to take a 4-3 lead midway through the 3rd period.

Jenkins was very good tonight except on Kingston's tying 2nd goal when he bobbled a hard shot by Justin Levac in the 2nd period. Other than that, he was good.

Ajax came to play tonight knowing they had to win tonight if they were going to get back into this series.

A strong Vees' 3rd period in which they outshot the Attack 17-7 secured it for Kingston. Sirman made a game saving save in the dying minutes.

Ajax twice had leads of 2-1 and 3-2 but couldn't hold the Vees off.

Kingston was without some important players tonight due to injuries. Steve Evans will be out 4-6 weeks as will Ben Power. Jarrett Buron and Cole Weedmark did not play due to injuries as well.

Vees dressed junior C callup Peter Roy and APM defenceman Scott Harrington. Both played well.

Fronts' coaching staff Doug Gilmour and Tony Cimellaro were in attendance tonight watching.

A bit of silliness in the second but things settled down for the Vees in the third. At the start of the playoffs I thought the biggest demon the Vees had to conquer was penalties now it looks like injuries might start to play a factor. They are very deep in affiliates but the most significant ones are still playing for their respective teams in Amherstview, Napanee and Gananoque.

The Vee,s didn,t deserve that one. Jenkins played awesome and so did the team infront of him. There was alot of no calls I heard from the ref,s.

Ajax can walk away from this one with their heads up. They showed that they has honour and so did Durant by starting Jenkins and having the team prepared for this one.

According to P/S Jenkins started game 2 and was pulled at the 14 minute mark after letting in 3 on 11 shots. I understand the first game issue - did Jenkins really start game 2 or was this an error??

I believe he did start. Sometimes a goaltender can lose his mental capacity to focus for whatever reason. I have seen it where they will even pull themselves out of the game.

Some bench bosses allow it and others leave it up to the keeper himself. Much of gaoltending is mental and when that part of the game goes out the window or a goaltender thinks it does, it has.

I do not know that this was the case but goaltenders are a rare lot.

Well boys very nice game showed your true colours i would say you all won 2 out of 3 periods good job!

Jenkins played very well good to see him back, the forwards and defense had some problems but worked them out after the first period then handled things after that, yes i agree Ajax should of won this game and showed this is why they made it threw the first round!

Its a very big downer to play this well in Kingston and come away with nothing, but as they say it is not over till its over, and i for one can say this Ajax team will not go down easy Saturday in Ajax in front of their fans!

GO ATTACK GO!!!!!!!!

YOU HAVE ALL BROUGHT BACK JR.A.HOCKEY TO AJAX GREAT JOB ALL!!!

Jenkins did start game 2 infact and you are right with the stats. I don't understand why people would think that the Attack staff would want to start anyone else but Jenkins. Infact whether people think that they are puppets or not they have a job to do and thats what coaches get paid for. They could quit but if everyone just quit what good would that do for the rest of the players. The staff are caught between a rock and a hard place so I admire them for sticking it out for the other players and obviously the players can'y quit so they have to do the best they can. This isn,t the first or last team that will be owned by a parent.
