With "OUR" current hit count at 3,782,806 (as of 9:45 am today) and a projected participation of 163,770 hits for the balance of March, totaling 3,946,576 hits by the end of this month, that will leave in the vicinity of 54,000 hits to surpass the 4,000,000 hit mark within the first ten days of April, even with a reduced rate of attendance as teams become eliminated!

Way to go everyone! 4,000,000 hits in less than 6 years, well beyond my expectations!!!! Thanks to all!

Congratulations to "US" you mean right "K2four"? I'm humbled by knowing that the success of this forum throught the past six years has very little to do with me, but more importantly to the ownership that so many of you have taken in the care and well being of this site!

I've recently noticed the number of logins which have a line under them, signifying that there is an e-mail address linked to their account. Although this may not be earth shattering by any means, it's kind of nice to acknowledge that there is a growing number of contributors who feel comfortable in breaking their anonymity which further enhances our trust in one another.

There are several participants (Fillibuster Ron, Alex from Rimrock Media, Hamred from Hamilton, Musicman Rob from Milton, Knighter from Ayr,  CCBlake of course from Oakville, aciguy from Aurora, Wayne Lewis and Estock from out the East end, Tyler Brown and yes even Wexdog, sorry for not naming everyone) who form a very strong foundation to this board and contribute far more than I do!

Monitoring this site is the very least I can do when so many people have such a passionate interest in maintaining its integrity! And we're only just starting! Just wait until the action gets going in the next round between all of the Divisional finalists, and especially the Georgetown/Oakville series! This thing will really heat up ..... I promise you!

Thanks again everyone and please give yourself a pat on the back for your dedication in playing such an instrumental role in the success of "The Cage"

To use the words of my friend, Tony; "no one ever visits or reads these stupid forums anyway!" comes to mind. wink.gif

Voltaire always put things even more clearly for me;
"Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well."

Tony, did we not pass the 3 million mark earlier this season?

That is one million hits this season alone - which divided over the previous five seasons, means visitors have multiplied exponentially. This is wonderful to see!

Thanks Tony and everyone else in the forum family happy.gif

My teams are all long gone from the playoffs, but it's always fun to keep up with the gossip. (Someone asked me who I was cheering for the other day... I think I said: everyone that isn't Wellington.)

*I can see your five hole*

Hey "Ice Babygirl", we should surpass the 4,000,000 hit mark prior to the conclusion of the OPJAHL Championship series! I predict that by this weekend when the Finals start between Kingston and the winner of the Blades/Dukes series (which should be this upcoming weekend) that we should surpass that 4 million barrier!

So far as your question regarding when we surpassed the 3 million plateau, I believe that it was at the tail end of last years season. If someone can confirm this please do so. In the meantime I'll take a look for that thread as well!

Thank you "Ice Babygirl" for your valued inputs and to everyone else who visits "The Cage" and participates on a regular basis! You're Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttttttttt!
