I agree with you dekem, this ones going the distance! Can't pick a winner, it all depends on which goaltender rises to the challenge in games 6 and/or 7! These two organizations are really that close!
Where Oakville dominates with size, the Raiders can more than compensate with leg speed! This series WILL come down to which goaltender can make that HUGE save to give his team the edge!
A soft, late game marker could lose this series for either team!

Adam and I took in the game last night in Gtown and was impressed by both clubs.
You are right, this will be a typical large physical vs small skilled series.
I thought Gtown dominated territorially, and outshot them by a wide margin.
It appears that every chance Oakville had to score, they capitalized- Simple.
I also dont think the Gtown goalie let any soft ones in, he played well, 2 of the three were beauties and the third a nice tip.
Based on what I saw last night, this will go 7 and it will be a great series.

GIVE IT UP the RAIDERS SCORED and it was called back and then hit 4-5 posts so this should have been a 6 or 7-2 drubbing of the blades. you will see a light show on friday night as the RAIDERS will not only dominate the game AGAIN but will come away with a win in the vicinity of 5 or 6 to NOTHING. we'll be generous to the blades and say 5-0. capobiano will steal the show again and this will come back to saturday night tied after a blowout.

What goal was called back? I saw the game. I saw a scramble. I saw the ref make definitive signals that the puck did not go in as he was standing DIRECTLY on the back of the net. The Blades hit posts last night and in game one and in game two so whats your point you goof? I thought Barnesdale was a goof but your even worse. At least he knows when to shut up.

if the blades win tomorrow, it's all but over. g-town will see the light and just pack it in. oakville is just too big for them. blades are just wearing down the raiders. i think blades in 5 is a good prediction.

AK and mdforlife.....your starting to get Raidernationitis....ease up on the predictions of gtown losing in 5. Do you honestly think one of the top teams in the OJHL will lose 4 in a row. The blades wouldnt lose 4 in a row and I can't see the Gtown losing 4 in a row.....
