During the Oakville Georgetown final games this year Sparks was overshadowed by the big guns but got twice as many assists as goals. The same pattern is true for all three years he has played with the Blades. During the season he had 57 points in 41 games this year, 22 pts in 27 games last year and 30 pts. in 43 games as a rookie.
At 5-8 170, Lindsay is another one of those little guys that you don't notice until its too late.

Sparks had committed to Brown on 11/9/2007 for the 2009 season. Since the Ivy league schools don't use the NCAA Letter of Intent I guess any verbal agreement may not really be binding ???? Then again maybe he didn't have the marks for Brown ???? Or maybe he just wanted to play with a perennial top team ????
Whatever the reasoning he will sit back on the depth chart & I doubt very much if any $$$ will be given to him as a scholarship.
As one of the most respected NCAA coaches pointed out to me years ago. They always like to have a few players pay their way which enables the school to offer larger percent or more full scholarships to the stars.
Sparks dad used to be the VP of Microsoft Canada & I'm sure paying full tuition to Michigan wouldn't cause 1 microsecond of hesitation.
